Taylor was already gone. They had the option to stay and play under Ivan if they REALLY wanted to be here. But they didn’t.

Hadn’t they already signed or agreed with there respective clubs?

Teddy, woods and Moses hadn't decided anything when Ivan came. Ivan gave them deadlines to sign which is never a good move and the only one who agreed to stay was brooks

You really think they weren’t already gone before he gave them the deadline?

I'm sure they had a good idea what they were doing but setting a deadline is pretty much pushing them out the door. I can't blame their either, we sucked then and we suck now ?

I'm just stating what happened and that's what happened. They got given a deadline and didn't sign, then signed elsewhere after that so it's not like they were already gone before Ivan was here

Teddy was too gutless to say he was moving on - he was interviewed at length during the lead-up pre-season and he constantly stalled on the question of re-signing and statements from close friends of Teddy claimed he was desperate to get away from the Tigers - it was his prerogative to move on but after the Tigers’ patience with 2 knee reconstructions putting him out of action for both seasons in the respective opening games he owed the Tigers some honesty.
Anyway the dog was on his way to the Bulldogs until that fractured at the hurdle - anywhere but the Tigers according to close sources.
I don’t care about Mitchell Moses - he is overrrated, he throws one pass in a set then hides on the blind side behind the ref until the 6th tackle for a kick.
In any case, I’m tired of all this rubbish being rehashed more times than an ‘A Current Affair’ storyline .... we are at the mercy of a host of vindictive journalists who not only look to bring the Tigers down but generally bringing the game into disrepute as a whole - the same flogs who are earning a motza in the process.

They didn't bag the club at all. Grateful for the start happy to be back together in SOO and glad for the opportunities afforded to them by their new clubs

800k for Pangai, if true, is too much.

The alternative is to go cheap and throw Dufty in the front row - we have the funds, let’s splurge.

I agree and I’m not sure he’s the type of player we need but will we get anyone better? Will he attract other competent first graders? I don’t know and I’m close to the fence on this one..

He would undoubtedly improve us. The money is an issue but we need to sign someone at some stage. We’re in the bottom 4 and have only signed a couple of super league players for next year. We’d be favourites for the spoon next year and rightfully so.

Yeah I see that argument but I just don’t know if he’s the type of character or defender we need. He’ll definitely add some grunt and offloads in attack .if he attracts others pay the man.

If he was going to attract others ...you'd have 15 clubs chasing him ....

I feel honored to be on your list of shout outs.
As plenty of Forumers have said "this place wouldn't be as bright as it is without You".
Stay safe buddy.

And I thought I was your favourite

G'day @cochise.
I have a lot of respect for blokes like @Demps that have gone of the rails, then when given the opportunity of another chance have seen the error of their ways and got back on the rails again by having the guts to admit that error.
[This is similar to what I was trying to say about Allan Fitzgibbon]

You on the other hand Cochise are a different kettle of fish :fish: :shark: .
I remember telling You early in our Bromance  :heart_eyes_cat: that I thought You could achieve 'wonderful things'....... and You are currently doing that Cochise....... for both Wests Tigers....... and Wests Tigers fans....... and I have a lot of respect for You for that reason.

Im not sure that should be the benchmark. He’s horribly overpaid at the Titans
