Chammas on 100% Footy asked Kevvie Walters about Pangai reportedly ringing Maguire and informing him that he will join the Tigers. Did anyone else see that?

Wait what

Chammas also said that he told Maguire tonight that he wasn’t coming?

Yeh, I thought he was ringing Madge to inform him he had decided to go with the dogs

What did Kevvie say?

Signing suggestion. But related to Pangai.
Anyone like Reni Atoni and think we should target him?
His off contract at the moment.

So by my calculations is a=♤◇• and pangai gets paid 1 bunnings snag for every per square metre of☆☆
It points towards us signing woods

Not stirring, flicked it on and thought that's what I heard. Kevvie unsure of his decision at this stage.

Gould all but admitted he has signed with the Dogs!...another one who chose against us!

Bulldogs will either crash and burn or gel and threaten.

It's impossible to tell which it will be, but I'm hoping for the former.

The more you spend on overpaying elite players the less you have for the players that hold the club together. They will have a very unbalanced squad for the next few years.Injuries and suspensions will hurt them worse than any other club. They will contending for the spoon again

Works for Manly.

But the dogs aren't Manly

Manly would only have DCE on overs the dogs will have far more on overs than that

No Manly have one of the most lopsided top end rosters in the league. Their roster is about ,8 players. The rest are bit players.

Goes to show how influential great players can be. Manly were the worst team in the comp until Turbo came back. Penrith looked average on the weekend until Liam Martin and Api Koroisau came off the bench.

Upvoted for referring to a bunnings snag.

If I was TPJ going to the Bulldogs is the easier safer route and he gets more cash as well - seriously what attraction do we provide a rep quality player that the Broncos or Bulldogs don’t especially when we aren’t going to pay overs.

Our COE isn’t finished, we have a team who don’t play together, player managers are hardly in favor of us infact our last 3 bigger names all up and left mid contract to teams higher on the ladder & more cash.

Sure we needed a TPJ not because of his ability but because he is a quality player which would show others hey you can join but you aren’t alone.

Sure the Bulldogs have spent alot of cash and still have major flaws on the roster but they are building a structure of hope. Next year anything but a 6-8 finish would be a disaster for what they have outlayed.

Whilst our only option is development / project players whilst ensuring we don’t pay major overs for them either. We have no choice now and thats to go hard in the development market & build a youth squad that maybe in 2-3yrs.

Madge and the Tigers just can’t attract players simple as.

Honestly this feels like we’ve dodged a massive bullet. Dogs paying 750k/year for this big dope is poor business. He is erratic af. Red flag considering the 15th place Broncos aren’t bothered about retaining his services.

Apparently we offered a package worth approximately 600k. 550k base + Car (Kia Stinger). I’m proud that our club didn’t offer ludicrous overs like the DumbDogs have.

Don’t be too proud until you see who we waste that money on now with a panic buy.

You reckon their signing of TPJ on rockstar dollars is good business fella?

What’s up? His former coach literally came out and said he’s not a leader. He intentionally broke lockdown rules twice and was also caught up in a sexting scandal, the bloke is an absolute moron and good teams won’t want that at their club.

So you're just one of those people who want nice players at our club. Look where that has got us? And I can't take you seriously with your hashtag of making someone with zero brain a mod.

Not gonna get into a pissing match with you pal. We’ll agree to disagree.

It's not the worst miss in the world. The way I see it we've made the Dogs pay overs and we've tried to jag a decent deal for a good player. If they can keep most of our good youngsters and keep attracting more like them we'll be competitive and the worm will turn.

We still need to sign a player before August 1st. I wonder who we'll upgrade.
