Badel is on the money with the 2.5 year offer which will be submitted today to TPJ Manager, but currently at the Broncos they don't know their left from their right.
As seen with the whole Billy Walters saga the Broncos do more flips then Cirque Du Le !
TPJ will cost us a maximum of $150k for 2021 & if they take Walters in a trade the final amount will be used to upgrade a lower grade player to the top 30 with Kiah Cooper, Pauga & Tuilagi the likely.

In relation to Finucane to say those in the club are divided is an understatement. Those who want him is purely for influence/culture on & off the field. The other side wary of long term deal biting us in the rear like Packer.
Club discussed a 2 year deal but Finucane's management won't entertain that at all unless there's a 3rd year option in his favour.
It will cost a minimum of $650-$675k per year for him to join us, I don't think we are his number 2 choice let alone number 1.

I wouldn't be concerned about it at all.There are always people in every forum who are going to downvote you for the slightest of reasons.I disagree with other peoples opinions all the time but rarely downvote anyone as everyone is entitled to their opinion.It is just usually people promoting dangerous ideas i am concerned about

I notice when a user posts news that some may not like they get downvoted.

Which I guess is fair, they think it's a bad idea or whatever but yeah.. isn't the users fault for breaking the bad news.

But nonetheless, the show must go on.

Yeah downvotes dont actually worry me but at times it makes me question others motivations.

In the Jungle Polo thread I was getting 2 or 3 downvotes a post but I could understand how someone could get their pyjamas in a knot about what i said. When I post that a journalist reports.....I cant work out the motivation.

As it turns out, its either thick thumbs or Ive made a thin skinned friend.

Kevin Walters only yesterday declared that Broncos star Tevita Pangai Jnr wouldn’t be allowed to leave the club mid-season.

But that stance is already being put to the test, with the Tigers set to table an offer for an immediate move for the 25-year-old.

The Courier Mail journalist Peter Badel told Fox League’s NRL 360: “The issue with Pangai Jnr is not over yet. He’s about to get a formal offer from the Wests Tigers. It will be a two-and-a-half year deal at this stage. So this season and then another two years to the end of 2023. And also the Bulldogs are circling for Tevita Pangai Jnr.”

Badel added: “I don’t believe Tevita won’t be at the Broncos next season. The Broncos are happy to honour his deal. But I know his manager is looking around the NRL and I wouldn’t be surprised if Tevita doesn’t move on. I still believe he won’t be at the Broncos next season.

Asked if the Broncos would be willing to let him leave mid-way through the current season, he said: “That’s right. I still believe they’ll do that. I’m told the Wests Tigers can afford about $250,000 this season. And given that we’re into the ninth month of the 12-month NRL calendar, they wouldn’t have to pay too much of Tevita Pangai Jnr’s contract because the Broncos have already done so.
