I’m telling you, TPJ might seem like an x-factor, and he no doubt can be, but the suspensions will wear thin real fast.

His presence though, when on field is the real threat... to opposition.

Madge needs to sit him down and work out strategies where he can control his aggression whilst playing his natural game and creating that second phase play we desperately lack.

I think a few of the other forwards could really benefit from a player like TPJ and hopefully they work as a strong unit with guys like Gildart, Luarie and AD following along for those offloads.

TPJ could be huge for us from transforming us from a soft pack to a feared one.

Demps : I'm not disagreeing with you but, quite a few on here are adamant that Madge can't coach.
So if that's the case how is he going to coach TPJ **and** change his aggressive attitude.

Easy.
Let Farah, Sheens and Kimmorley do it.

Farah as coach is one of the most out there suggestions I have ever heard.

Farah is a born leader with so much football intelligence.

Tell me it's a bad idea.

Bro ...didn't you have someone spotting for you today

What are u talking about haha

It is a very bad idea, if Marshall is over the hill, at 5/8, Farah is certainly at the hooker!

No one is asking him to play, lol.

Madge is on thin ice, Sheens, Kimmorley and Farah added to the staff , is an indicator the club is not happy with the coaching, I was a fan , but i think he is past it. The hard nosed coach that got results, has turned into the Bennet father figure, which is not working.

Kimmorley is in the role that Hodgo was originally going to have. He is the Pathways Coaching Manager.

They all have other jobs, i know. I just think the management is covering their butt , in case Madge has a falling out. We have not improved the defence, offloads and 2nd phase play is almost non existant. Game plan ,we look like head less chooks. Confidence is Zilch. What is the coach responsible for? If not these basics?, I won't even get into the team selections. The old saying- if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it is a duck.

Yeah I don't think that is the plan.

Your probably right, i just think we are cleaning a toilet bowl with a cotton bud .

I think they will stick with Madge until at least the middle of next year.

I'd give Madge the whole next year. Make the 8 and he stays. Don't and we get a new coach. Simple.

He’s here at least until the end of 2023.
Madge is only the second coach to secure a contract extension at WT, the other one (the floater) is on his way this month. Let’s see what they can achieve together?

There is more chance I’ll win the 100m at the Tokyo Olympics than him being here at the end of the 2023 season.

It will be interesting to see if anyone the Tigers are targeting have a get out clause relating to Madge if he is terminated

Madge is as safe as can be and IMO he should be.

This under performance of the WTs of the last 15 years predates Madge.

The current leadership must be given a few more seasons to establish the culture and roster that we fanatics want.

Money in the cap is coming as is Sheens.

Maguire has taken under performance to a new depth.

Let's reward him by ensuring he is "safe as can be".

Good post and I agree. Tamou and Mbye were hung out to dry with those terrible interviews. Maguire skates. It appears they've circled the wagons.

Tamou and MBye are our last 2 captains and deserved to be interviewed after the debacle of our last game.Where was their leadership when it counted? Both were on the field when the white flag was hoisted, certainly almost the whole team went through the motions but i cant blame the young blokes when the "leadership" players went to water

Maguire should have the opportunity to explain the changes he is making to himself and coaching style in the interests of improving the culture and performance at WTs. It's clear from results what he has done in the NRL is not working.

They all needed to be interviewed with loaded guns aimed at their heads ...turn Concord into a war zone ......wire ..bunkers ...machine guns .....grenades .....howitzers .......

Weights bro ........head knock ...HIA ...don't think Robbie would make a good head coach

Not a head coach.
But an assistant coach.

If he proves himself at another club 1st

We as a club need a break from Benji and Robbie for a good 5 years ......weed out all the crap 1st and then if they are prepared to tow the line and not leak crap to the media every 5 minutes ...maybe

Robbie is at the club currently.
