Tevita Pangai Junior

Believe it was 2.2million over three years (plus about 150k this season), however Brisbane are chipping in around 350k.

The fact that Tigers offer includes an immediate release will play in the clubs favour. Should also mention that some of that money may be paid forward this year as the Tigers do have a bit of cap space left. Not sure on the exact breakdown but it would end up being around 600k a season from 2022-2024 (taking into account Broncos payment and early payment to fill out the cap this season).

From what I heard as late as this afternoon, the ball is now in TPJ's court but no final decision has been made.

He has his final offer from the Tigers and a now revised final offer from the Dogs which is slightly more than they previously offered.

Personally believe the dogs revised offer will get it over the line for them, however believe that TPJ has shown that he is genuinely more interested in the Tigers than the dogs so I wouldn't be totally surprised to see him end up at the Tigers.

Thanks for the update mate.. Sounds like it may come to an end sooner then later..
Fingers crossed we can get him as this would be a massive boost to the club.

Sounds like there’s a fair bit in our favour. Are the dogs offering a lot more?

Sounds like at the moment we are. Maybe even but maybe more

That figure sounds much better.

Super original

The club needs a TPA with a security company for say 200k for 24 hour surveillance just to protect the investment if they are going to pay crazy money.

I don't believe any announcement would be made until after our game with the Broncos if he is joining.

The problem with Pangai is he only has a blinder every 3 or 4 games.
We need someone with more consistency for 800k.

Blows my mind we would happily pay that amount for TPJ and not for finucane. Finucane is the leader we need that could change the whole culture at the club.

The key word being ‘could’. He’s almost 30 and played a lot of footy. Massive risk imo. You’re paying a lot for intangibles.

100% TPJ is only 25 he is way better value

Check PM'S My brother.

You trying to get someone to back your Cotric rumour mate ? Not taking off as you’d hope ?

My rumour?
You've been sulking a lot mate.

Are you OK?

Well yeah it is your rumour, you’ve been parading it on here for the last 24 hours. Now you’re got clearly massive doubts about it so you need backing.

No sulking over here. Just salivating at the apology I’ll get it when it doesn’t happen ?

I won't be apologising if the club can't get the job done...

The club has to be involved for that to happen

That's not a bad price at all. Hopefully it's worked out soon whether he joins us or not

26 days since talk of coming to the Tigers and we are still counting
Seems to be a dragged out process
Pulling out of the race and re entering has probably hurt our chances a little/lot
The hierarchy seem to be working hard to get Pangai over the line but will it be enough
This club desperately needs some good news and a good signing
If we do miss out on Pangai I feel it will have huge ramifications for the next few years
I wouldn't call Pangai elite but he would have to be the best signing this club has made in many years if he does end up signing
It will give us all some hope that we may finally be able to sign players who can take our club to the next level
I'm afraid if we don't sign Pangai that we could very well end up with the spoon next year
We need this for team morale and to prove to ourselves and our club that we can get these types of signings done
I'm not saying Pangai is our sole saviour but he is a start
Make it happen Tigers
Provide us with some relief

So did he sign with the dog's yesterday?

No update yet. He was meeting up with the bulldogs

Must be hard with the Covid restrictions ...Anna said any players that breach now aren't in the bubble anymore ...

Yep very hard with a computer and an internet connection.

As you may have seen despite your obvious gripe ...when someone says "meeting up " thats means meeting them in person .....

Well seeing your prom date has got about 1 out of 30 predictions right you can understand my questions and lack of credibilty ....

By the way , still waiting for your apology in regards to the 36 hours discrepancy beween the press comments and your mates comments that you denied happening .....

This is good news for you, you learnt something new today. You can do a “meeting up” online, all you need is a computer and wifi. Crazy world I know . Apologise ? To you ? Omg , lol lol lol lol lol lol

Says the person who's world revolves around a poster who talks enough crap and never admits he is wrong

I won't be surprised to find you and iwasright are one and the same ......oh shock horror ....
