ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.....its just that when you give an honest opinion on a particular thread and some dont like what you post,it suddenly becomes a personal plight against you because they have a different opinion....point in hand""I think Madge needs to complete his tenure because of the work he has done with the junior base and trying to offload the deadwood in the team""....people who dont like the results we are having straight away go into Madge hate and have personal attacks on him because of our results...**they cant realise that things dont happen overnight and the contracts from previous coaches have to be met or sorted..**..
Within this thread which is about TPJ,I think he has heaps of talent and ability,however,his indiscretions put a slight doubt on his signing,but if Hartigan and Madge think he is worth that risk and we get him,I 100 percent support the decision as a WTs member and fan...

Wests Tigers supporters are an intelligent bunch. We have had to look very closely at our club,looking for answers. In doing so we have explored the reasoning i have bolded. Most of us fully understand that kind of reasoning but still think he should be sacked.

Neither is more correct or "true" than the other, both just opinions.

I think in truth , most people , are on the fence . It just depends on which side you lean , if any .

I can’t remember who said it on here, but someone made the point that Madge works best with a team of guys working together towards the common goal .
And that my friend has , and until something changes , will always be our problem .

He’s a great coach who had bit off more than he can chew .

If it’s not benji, it’s nofa , or Matto , there’s just a culture , not of mediocrity, but more self absorption .

How do you make a bunch of guys , who have giant egos buy into the team.
The storm did it , just because they made the right choices in 99 . From then on , it’s been success , built as much on talent , as it is on legacy , and passing the baton .

I guess we messed up in 2000, by building the culture around old , ex north’s and manly players looking for a pay day .

Unfortunately this is what happens when the administrator removes discretion from the moderators and doesn't support them. Don't expect the admin to support you either, and I say that with some regret as this forum is deteriorating.

I've noted your disaffection with site administration in a couple of recent posts. Not challenging you on it, you're perfectly entitled to your point of view. On a slightly different tack, I've been wondering about something for some time and was wondering whether you can answer. I've made a couple of financial contributions to the site in the past but haven't donated for a while. My reason is that i can't see accountability for the money. I know that it costs money to run the site and some support is found through advertising revenue. But I don't know whether the site runs at a profit or the extent to which forum members should be expected to contribute to support the forum. Is there somewhere where the financial arrangements are spelled out?
