There used to be moderation on this Forum. That seems to have largely disappeared in recent times. Is it too much work? Why is so much trolling, off topic crap and bitching allowed these days?

I'm not a mod and I'm not trying to be critical of those volunteering to do a job I don't volunteer to do, but I'm curious why the standards have shifted. Of course ironically if this discussion was moved to another more specific thread there wouldn't be half as much discussion on this.

It really is, I'm starting to enjoy my time on here less and less. we have people walking away who have been here for over 10 years. Really disappointing.

There needs to be a balance. Somewhere in the middle. People were getting banned for the smallest things, while the mod favourites had a green pass. At least this way everyone gets a fair crack.
