to all supporters on the forum throughout the year. This is the place that ignites passion, the vox populi that carries our aspirations and dreams, that bonds us together under one banner, one team. Yes, there have been times where the heart has spoken before reason; when the humble pie store has been dishing up plenty; other times when all seemed lost and only a few have kept the faith. But in the end there is something about being a West TIgers supporter that sets us aside from any other team - it's a bond we should all cherish called West Tigers.
I don't know any of you but, during the premiership, we are all brothers and sisters. Let's make 2011 the biggest family reunion ever. :sign:
 
yeah well said ….ive actually made some good friends because of the forum ..we catch up at games and socially have a cry after a loss.. have a brag after a win , and i can thank the merge because of it ...

Think I've posted a few emotional rants this year. Love my footy, love the Tigers, love the Forum. Hate summer sport. My only concern as I age is the effect being a Tigers supporter has on my blood pressure.
 
I love the forums beacuse it's great to be with fellow Tigers fans to celebrate a win or commiserate a loss. Like-minded folks who share the passion. Thanks, everyone. :slight_smile:

Best team, best supporters & best forum. I tend to think of many of you as unmet friends until my daughter tell me "Mum it's a forum, they really aren't your friends". :imp: What a negative view point. If I want to pretend we are all friends it doesn't hurt. :smiley:

Hey Annabelle I get the same reaction from my girls who think my interest (both of footy and the forum) is a bit odd, but bahhh, who cares.
 
Only just joined the forum, but am a long time supporter. I have pondered becoming a financial member for a while and will be doing so this upcomming season. The thing is, if I get a pinnical membership, am I allowed to hang in the jungle with the noisy ones or do I have to be in my seat??? Either way I will be at the ground waving my flag and making some noise of my own.

Once you purchase a membership you have your seat or you can sit anywhere in GA..where the Jungle normally prowl….It's up to you
 
hear hear, im 21 and i spend more time on here than i do on facebook lol, i havent met any of you but from the games i have gone to in qld and watching on tv i am always thinking i wonder if iahev seen any one from the forum lol. Can't wait til next year, its going to be awesome!!! Remember around this time last year we were all discussing the rumours of tuqiri coming to wests tigers ????? everyone was so excited when it happened. That was a year ago :O

watch some a-league and before you know it we will all be getting ready for the first round. :slight_smile:

I would also like to give a BIG THANK YOU, to everyone involved in Wests Tigers this year, especially the coaching staff who at time were much maligned and to every single player who pulled on this wonderful jumper this year. To Royce Simmons, thank you and good luck. All of you made this such a successful year, we made the finals for the first time since 2005, gave it a shake and played our best. We have so many exciting players coming throught, bring on 2011!

Benji Marshall you are a superstar on and off the field, the care and love you gave to Lleyton Giles and his family is overwhelming. Children's Oncology will be in a better position with you coming on board and if you can't raise their profile no one can. Thank you Benji.
 
What a year this has been and NEXT YEAR WILL BE BETTER!

Like so many have said before me, thanks to everyone involved with the Wests Tigers. The players, club officials, fair-dinkum fans and forum members have made this a very good year. The team suffered from inopportune injuries throughout the year, but they finished a much better team at the end of the year, than they were at the start. They can win with fast-moving, attacking football and they can grind out a tough, hard win. This added skill I guess is due to the Folkes factor.

Finally, thanks to all the Forum members, even those I violently disagree with, for your contribution to this great, informative Forum.

ps. I should add that I admire the tremendous, social work done by the Club and Players, which makes me proud to say I have been a Wests Magpies/Wests Tigers supporter for over sixty years.

love everyone's passion on theses forum. A big thank to Willow for his excellent reviews of each match. Also love the comments of Balmain Bug. You crack me up. Wests Tigers peformed well above my expectations this year and finally were able to win the close games. Lot of great juniors coming through the ranks so 2011 is looking good. Don't understand why Sheens does not use the whole bench. At least Fitzlippery is not playing next year. So proud of the boys on Saturday night. One point off playing a Grand Final.
 
Hey guys and gals on the forum…not a day goes by without me checking in to catch up on the latest goss on the Tigers...All I can say to one and all who contribute and manage this site..... is ..<big>..**thanks**.</big>....!
 
We should have a secret sign, a tweak of the ear to let yourself known as a Forum member so at open days etc we can say hello.
