The 2015 Wests Tigers main playing strip is the best yet IMO.

Absolutely hate it with a passion.

Predominately orange for me - no one else has that.

Just to break the myth - I don't think anyone ever - in the history of the world has seen a black tiger.

…or a blue and white bulldog or a red white and blue rooster or a blue and yellow eel or a maroon and yellow bronco or a blue and black shark etc.

dont you know that all sporting mascot's colours have to line up perfectly with scientifically proven shades and combinations seen in the wild?

a shade here or there and the biological community will turn on you in no time!

I'd like that to be our main indefinitely, and the tri colour hoop that we wore against Manly last year to be our alternative.

They are simple, easy on the eye and could well be those strips where people look at them and instantly identify it with our club, ala red V with St. Merge and the cardinal & myrtle of Souths.

Not trying to be smart CB , but did you mean the Manly at Leichhardt or Manly at Brookvale ??

Didn't see the Manly game at Brooky , was travelling to Brisbane in the car that Friday night

Just remember hearing the Nofoaluma no try

I don't get where all this hype about the 2015 main strip is coming from. The jersey is near identical to the 2014 main strip. Saying that I like the main Jersey but the grey and white alternate is absolute rubbish. Why couldn't the 2014 Orange away strip be used. Yes it may have been to "hi vis" for some but tone the Orange down a bit to a more traditional orange.

The club more then likely payed a small fortune to some designer and in return they produced the grey/white alternate crap that we have been subjected to this year. Just goes to show the idiots that run this club again have absolutely no idea once again.

Let's just hope the boys can perform, as great on field results will run the club nearly by itself.

I agree…..i really like the black one but the white and grey???

Surely the reverse orange would be the obvious choice.

I miss the orange......

The 2005 strip will always be my favourite. Have no problem with this years jerseys. For those who don't like it dont worry …..... they always change them every two or three years so you won't have too long to tolerate them.

any coincidence that was because we won?

I love the current one!
But can't wait for its sister jersey to come back, the gold with white and black V

It is unlikely that it ever will. It didn't sell well and in an age of merchandising that is a solid death knell to any design.

The black strip adds a good contrast and background to the orange and white sections all looks to be in good proportion, classy.

When the clubs merged the name became "Wests", to honor the "Western Suburbs" side of the joint venture, and "Tigers", to honor the Balmain side.

Our weak administration decided to appease the "Western Suburbs" half, who felt the joint venture was overlooking them, by scaling back the "Tigers" branding. Without any concern (& probably no realisation) for the Balmain half. Without any care for what the joint venture was supposed to have been & should continue to be.

I just think we have made a mistake in regards to branding and identity.

Absolutely. Parramatta was a successful club but wanted to merge with Balmain to get the Tigers branding.

Melbourne look like Brisbane look like Manly. Panthers look like Warriors look like Roosters look like Newcastle. Cowboys look like Parra look like Titans look like Sharks look like Bulldogs.
But we are 2 steps away from having that problem because we have something no other team has got. The orange colour…AND a reason to wear it - the Tiger mascot which captures people's imagination.

When the away team runs out onto our paddock they should be surrounded by a sea of orange cause they're facing the MIGHTY Tigers! Not the corporate zebras.

first up, I'm a former magpie. I like the current jerseys but there is an obvious lack of gold. Id be happy with a strip similar to what balmain wore in the 80's. Gold jersey, not a horrendous orange that some bastard gave us, with one black stripe and one white stripe. Black shorts.Plenty of black and gold and minimal white, which seems to be the colour no one cares about

Why don't the Richmond tigers play in orange? They are tigers and they play in a black strip with orange v

I seem to recall Grant Mayer stating on Twitter that the Black Jerseys last year outsold the Orange Jerseys two to one…so it does come into consideration.

I like the hoop jerseys the best....throwback to both Wests and the Tigers.
