We had a meeting with the CEO yesterday..talking points..


I just want to congratulate all the guys involved with the Ambush and sharing with us updates and info that some of us arent privy to...I hope it keeps growing and becomes an annual event(s) for many seasons to come...:+1:

Thanks mate, we are currently trying to build a bit of a social media presence to give us another string to our bow when dealing with the club, if we can get a couple of thousand followers to our facebook page it will allow us to use that presence as a bit of incentive when trying to get the club to support more events. Unfortunately it is looking like our next planned event in Round 18 will need to be cancelled due to Covid. Which is really disappointing because we had just confirmed Marina Go as our guest speaker for that event.

I don't do Facebook, but, I'll push the word out via family/friends who do.

If i can help out our club with 2nd point: there is no opposition at training. Our problem is when other teams wants to join in...
3rd point we have a defense and attack coaches? Who are they did they mention names? because if Madge has any part in either surely point 1 is redundant?
4th point of course. We have never really been that interested...Like that time I bumped into Liv Tyler in town when she was filming the lord of the rings...she was interested i wasn't.
5th point will they be any good or in the packer,BJ and Mbye bracket.

What was Liv Tyler interested in sorry ....becoming a cheerleader ....

We request that the Club provide a guest speaker pretty much ..

It depends who is available an often is a last minute sort of thing.. it also shows a willingness of the guest which is a great endorsement of their character we had Chris Lawrence lined up but fell through at the last minute..

For ladies round we reached out to Marina Go through a member of the group and Marina was very forthcoming and keen but due to COVID and the current restrictions we have had to cancel..

Love your work guys. As one of the admins for The Jungle hope we can work together once lockdown ends and create something that all fans can enjoy whether they're at a game or not. I'll eventually go to an ambush event once we're allowed back

We are pleased to announce the introduction of The Ambush -Show Your Stripes..

The Ambush is a group of Wests Tigers members and fans working in partnership with the Wests Tigers to provide increased membership and fan engagement, game day experiences, events and associated activities throughout the 2021 NRL season.

We aim to create a community of passionate Wests Tigers supporters who can come together and experience an improved and more engaging game day experience for both Home and Away Matches.

As Such our 1st Event will be..

Round 3 – Venue - Wests Ashfield on Sunday 28th March
V Newcastle Knights

* Starting time - 2pm

* Guest speaker Q and A - 3pm

* Food and Beverage Discounts

* Giveaways

* Game commences - 4pm

I love that we can have banter and a laugh ....these times we are going through is pretty tough and I dont mean the footy...people are suffering and battling I can only send them a God bless and hope they come out of this ok....
