There have been a number of comments made today on this forum and on Twitter stating the aim of The Ambush by someone not involved in our group. Can I clarify that The Ambush is all about enhancing game day experience and broadening the member base. It is not simply a group for people who can’t go to the game. Steve, also to elaborate - the Wests Ashfield events were intentionally selected to be away matches where attendance would mostly be more challenging for Sydney-based folks (e.g. Canberra, Newcastle, Melbourne). We also did the Souths game at Homebush as it wasn't a home match.

Wests Ashfield is an obvious venue given the club ownership and they have been very supportive by providing space and discounts for Tigers fans who are also Ashfield members. We also have plans for some alternative venues - one at Campbelltown for August that we'll advertise once sorted.

Wow, I applaud the club for how transparent they are with the supporter group. Whilst on-field results aren't we'd like them to be, the club is heading in the right direction.

Also, thoroughly glad that assistants are being reviewed at the end of the season.
