@Jazza said:Mate, if anything Campbelltown is the future.
I was a Balmain fan fan before the merger, but in all honesty, Balmain is in the same predicament as the Sharks are now with no room for growth.
You have the Roosters to the East, the Dogs to the South, Parramatta to the West, North and its the water and Manly territory. Moving more games to LO is a step backwards.
Campbelltown is continually growing with growth expected in the next couple of decades West towards Cobbity and the Leppington areas with a train line heading out there from Glenfield, and growth South towards Douglas Park, Menangle and Picton. These are the areas Wests Tigers need to focus on for the future of not only local/junior talent, but commercial wise.
Move back to Balmain and watch us contract while the other clubs come out to Campbelltown and prosper.
You only have to look at the junior reps this year Balmain as usual no teams in the final 8\. Wests both teams in the final 8.
Wests Tigers are well aware the future is Campbelltown and are looking to have the under 20's train out of Campbelltown next year…won't be long before the NRL moves out here as well.
Apologies if I spelled everything correctly.
