Halatau was in the prop rotation… not as a hooker. His first spell was replacing Blair IIRC. It was only after Potter had enough of Luani that Dene popped into hooker for a stint.

Halatau had a bench spot owned at the Dogs, and Tapau wasnt getting much game time... in a way that speaks volumes for how effective Dene is as a pack member.

after we scored and it was 16-6 we needed some impact. instead I see luani playing in the forwards and halatau in dummy half. Kapow and keith off and ava starting his first spell???

We need 4 pigs on the bench , ever since we changed that we have steadily gone down hill.

Listening to the radio today no special mention was made of any Tigers. They got owned in the first half. But Gavet was hard to stop whenever he got the ball, always needing 2 or 3 to be brought down. Finished w no injury but played in short stints by the sound of it.
