Can I just take a moment also to say thank you to whoever the Cows recruiters were who thought "let's grab that Esan bloke from the Tigers" and took him. They even convinced him to get out of his deal with us.

Watching that apathy...mentally absent moments...ill discipline.. and brain snaps...was just so enjoyable tonight. Last year v Cronulla...season on the line...and we had to endure him take plays 'off' as Sharks players wanted it more. We had to endure him have no idea on D...no idea how to catch and pass...

Yet none of that stopped them.

It's a shame for Esan as he once looked like he had a real lot of promise. He's fallen right off and I can't see him playing rep footy at all. Not a bad one to let go.

Esan has loads of ability. He could honestly be one of the best centres in the game. It's his effort that lets him down.
Similar to Moses Suli but Suli seems to have pulled his head in a bit more these days.

Hell yeah ...no matter what style a coach employs the 100 % effort still needs to be without question EVERY week

Out of all the players that have left us........3. Its not that bad a strike rate. IMO Teddy is the only one I regret leaving.

Highlights don't matter, as long as he is doing his job adequately. He's usually always a threat with ball in hand. Handy player to have, especially if interchanges are reduced in the next season or two.

He is a decent final ten min each half forward in broken play.

But he is a TERRIBLE outside back...just absolutely woeful defensively.

Our problem is we give him that 17 spot and he is our 'cover' for the backs also. We need a massive upgrade in outside back cover on the bench.

Yes and no ..
Watch again ...Mbye was worse in defence and he’s an origin player .
Centre is the hardest position to defend and everyone says he’s a rock solid defender in that position so defending on the wing should be a breeze..but Mbye was puss .

Watch again ...Mbye was worse in defence and he’s an origin player .

Moses was playing wing...for the first time ever. He likely will never play there again. No big deal IMO. And, yes, Mbye defends great a center.

MCK has had dozens of games at center and 'still' fails miserably. He is an arm grabber 'and' a poor reader, two fatal traits in that spot. He has had enough chances to show he is nowhere near NRL level as a back. Our issue, IMO, by playing him 17 he is our only cover for the backs. We need a big upgrade.
