The Death of Passion

So explain this ….....

So if the NRL doesn't control where funds go why did they negotiate with the ARLPU the percentage of funds that went to the players .....

Well I’m always prepared to admit when I’m wrong. Go back to first post and I gave it to Fafita. Just saw the footage in full- he was working with indigenous youth. So - humble apologies to Andrew in this instance. He was doing a good thing.

The players play in the NRL? That agreement would have been signed off by the ARLC.

That was a good story.

And the ARLC funding comes from the troll who mans the bridge and the tooth fairy …..

These bloody 502 bad gateway messages at night

Not sure of your point. The ARLC has jurisdiction over all rugby league and touch football in Australia. NRL obviously the biggest and most profitable arm of rugby league, but the ARLC decides where the money gets spent across all branches.

So if the NRL are spending money on US advertising, it's either signed off by the ARLC or simply comes out of the NRL's advertising budget. It's not being redirected from the junior coffers.

Maybe yeah, maybe the NRL does waste some money. But it generates most of that money in the first place and would reasonably have some scope to spend it.
