We are a decent team, but we are bottlers. Every time over the past 5 years we have gone into anything resembling a big game, we have been handily thrashed, even by bog average teams like the Dragons a week ago.

Compare that to teams like Brisbane, whenever they NEED to win a game, they win.

I dont think any club is laughing at us. I think players show respect for each other and I think they are better judges of what is required to perform well in this competition than those sitting on the sideline. And our side this year has competed well.

It’s incredible how a club can consistently lose games when they are favourites to win… there has to be some psychological connection between the odds and the players mindset... mentally we are weak as piss

It’s nobodies fault that we can’t win the close games , it’s Ours !!!
we’ve got to put games out of reach, if we can’t learn that then we may as well give up.
When it counts we are still Soft, or Lazy,.

Work harder, and we’ll get luckier.

851,I honestly think that our squad is just below NRL standard but are in the NRL arena,they go in hard to try and compete with the better teams,some they have beaten fair and square,others the have been beaten by bad officiating…overall their problem arises through trying way to hard and the fumbles and bumbles start to come into the game..they need to learn discipline and stick to the gameplans they train for....they have to learn how to handle PRESSURE week in and week out..

I don't think they are below NRL standard, but only just at it. Contrast with the Capons hire a team, packed with rep players.

Not whinging about anything GCT. I had us almost written off before the season started.
Never contemplated finishing on 26 possibly 28 points with this squad. The one game I refer to we were wrongfully robbed of two points there is no ifs or buts about it.
Tell me the team in the eight that has a weaker roster than ours (barring current injuries) and then those digging the boot in would have a reasonable argument.
Otherwise it just appears that this squad is being held responsible for the disappointing performances of teams past - and I dont think they deserve it.

Weve missed Teddy big time, no X-factor player.

Weve had 70% of our season with dummy half issues, where all attack begins.

We lack speed seriously…we are slower than a wet week

So show me the games over the last 2 seasons where the broncos have had the luck go against them, or the 50/50 calls go against them, or a horrible refereeing decision cost them a game.

I agree with your post - we shouldn’t look for excuses, but the reality is some teams need to be stronger because they face more adversity than other teams.

I've been watching. My opinion is a little different to yours though. I get the impression you might be having a laugh.

Im sick to death of people making excuses...this fanbase really does have have an accepting mediocrity problem
We failed overall yet again...
Most clubs see a premiership as success.....we see making the top 8 as success
