Anyone who thinks Blair only ran 30 meters didnt watch the game… He would of ran 30 in his opening spell as this was when Brisbane actually made meters through the middle.

lol… it says 66m.

Only if you add both sites together.

I have no idea what Watto is looking at but on the two sites i was on it clearly states his run metres in the 30's.

Even if it was 60…..that is still rubbish from yer prop.

He is the biggest myth ever.

idk what it is about blair.. coaches love him. one thing though, when he went off, the rabbitohs started dominating the middle.. he is just really good at slowing down the ruck.. a very smart but lazy player.

gavet was soooooooo terrible.

always loved reddy.. think he's very underrated. good positioning, agile, runs good lines, good with the high ball, good defender… i'd take him over both our centres tbh. can't believe we let him go when we did- we needed him then.

Agile?

JR is a decent no-frills footballer. His strengths are good hands, good under high ball and decent 1-1 defence. His weaknesses are his speed, lack of evasiveness and not so great laterally.

I haven't seen the bloke make a self-created break in the last 5 years. You put him in the centres and nothing will happen, he has nil footwork and he won't bust tackles running lines. At least as a winger he can finish ok and can catch.

However I still recall a game about 2 years ago when Timana Tahu playing for Knights ran rings around Reddy, something like 2 or 3 tries scored / set up by smoking JR, which is plain embarrassing.

JR is what Souths need: low-cost, dependable footballers to compliment their high-earning stars. That is why blokes like Goodwin, Lowe, Tyrrell, Clark get a run.

We already have a JR-type on the books, he is named Pat Richards, only that Richards also has a massive and accurate boot on him. So I think you get better value for money.

I can distinctly remember Reddy winning a MOTM award v the Raiders in a game when he was absolutely awesome in 2013 I believe

We played the Raiders once that year and by all accounts he wasn't MOTM. Our final Dally M points for 2013 were:

Tigers
Robbie Farah - 13
Aaron Woods - 12
Benji Marshall - 6
Tim Simona - 5
Liam Fulton - 3

Perhaps he got 2 points…......

ABC Grandstand MOTM , I was at work and listened to the radio It could of been a different year or team but he scored a solo try in the corner and set up another with a break

He tore it up in the 2nd half

Blair…...6 runs for 37 metres from ur prop.

Anyone who thinks that is effective is madder than Bennett.

Your stats are way out… Keep up the good work!

No they aren't, nrlstats.com is more reliable than nrl.com

true true

i guess agile was the wrong word. he gets the job done.. he isnt super fast but he isn't too slow either. i was more comparing him to players like beau champion, colin best, ayshford type players and i think he's better than all of them.

i think the timana tahu game was hardly his fault, he was moving in with the line.

Well written, i couldnt help but agree that he is the perfect player for Souths, get the job done at a price that allows them to keep their big names.

Its a really good point that even a lot on here fail to understand. You just cant have a team full of superstars. You need a few players on 250k who just get it done, no fuss no great pressure on the salary cap.

I think it would be wise to wait and see how our own forwards go before giving our best Nelson Munce impression. But hey, that's just me.
