Game one into the season and the Broncos V Rabbitohs featured 3 players that have played for the Tigers during the last few seasons, how did you rate them!, Gavet & Blair for Brisbane & Reddy for $ouff$.
 
Gavet, first two touches two mistakes, real lazy defender may end up having a few weeks off after his loose shoulder at the end.
Blair, same old same old, gotta give it to him though, he works hard and chases everything. No great loss.
Reddy, average
 
Blair was very quiet. Gavet looked totally lost out there, that would have been worse than every game he played for us.

I liked Reddy. Did his job admirably. Good bit part player for the Bunnies.
 
Gavet was awful. My son had to point him out to me as I didn't recognise him with short hair Lol…
Blair was his usuall self, giving away penalties as usual.
Reddy played ok. Nothing special. He did his job like all the Rabbitohs players did. Wow, they seem unstoppable don't they? :frowning:
 
Thank you Mr Bennett….i enjoyed that immensely.

Watching Gavet and Blair drops balls and give away penalties was divine.

And how about him spelling Parker for 25 mins and playing him at hooker for 15.

Someone has been partying with Khunt methinks.
 
Bit hard to judge Gavet and Blair based on one game - the first game of the season with a brand new team! I think I'll reserve my judgment til a bit later on in the season.
 
Flip, I can't see Blair changing his game. He always gave away penalties when he was playing for The Storm and with us too. Can't see it changing. But anything is possible i guess. Gavet did have a bad game, but he could come good, especially if he works and improves his defence.
 
I always liked Blair but had heaps of mistakes in him but did have a go , thought he was very over rated , Gavet well just will disappear in time a very lazy player…good luck to them both and I think the right decision was made to let them go.

Pretty average really

Gavet was bad - very undisciplined. He won't be playing next week. Even if he escapes suspension, Bennett will drop him.

Reddy has always been a solid, consistent player, and he showed this again last night

Great call by the Broncos to let Hannant go and sign Blair and Gavet me thinks …... not

Reddy was one player we should of kept , with us struggling for centres he would of been an ideal player and form wise is in a far better place than Rowdy

Lets hope Rowdy can step up
 
Gavet was way off the pace, but Blair was good and effective considering the lack of minutes he had.

As for his Penalties… Well one was stupid, the rest were part of the game.

Agree with others on Gavet... Uncle Wayne will send him packing if he has another game like that.

Reddy - He is just a consistent player. The Coach knows what he will get and that is sometimes what gets these blokes a run over more fancy types.
 
I actually thought that Gavet gave them some sadly lacking ooomph, yeah he made some mistakes but at least he was having a go.

Blair chased and niggled as is his go…..he should play rover in Aussie Rules, but prop?? He is laughable.

I'm not judging Blair based on one game - I'm judging him on one game plus three years. He's an average first grader at best.
