Funny isn't it?

No need to panic. No way we get the spoon this year.

ummm yes there is, not win another game and the eels winning at least 3 games, VERY VERY possible

I would only be concerned if I did not back Parra for the wooden spoon.

well if eels beat dragons us, they can beat the Broncos they actually beat them already this year and have a good record against them. and the bulldogs are overrated they are a chance in that game

So what should we do? 😕

So, Golden, tell us again how Parra are capable of winning 3 more games before the yr is out?

Can't imagine how you kept a straight face pumping Parra's tyres so vehemently. As long as its at the cost of a negative affect on us though you can probably convince yourself of anything.

Each team plays each other twice so those are the two games that are most important.

Going to be interesting to see how he justifies Parra being able to win a few games on the way home based off tonight but we can't. He'll find some way to.

Parra now have to win at least 4 out of there remaining 6 and we need to loose all of them. Parra are playing Manly next week and Storm a couple of weeks later.Pretty safe bet for spooners 2 years running

To be fair he's trying to rebuild a club that has been in tatters for many seasons. Throw in a dysfunctional board that he has to answer to and the chips are stacked against him or any coach that's preceded him. So one cannot expect instant turnaround in a season or even two. That said he's track record isn't admirable as NRL coach either.

At least we have depth in our juniors. As apposed to parra.

I sometimes wonder whether we (Tigers fans) over estimate the longer term potential of our juniors. The leap to successful first grade is soooooo BIG, and it often takes more than raw talent to break into the elite league.

No, just this forum. One moment farah is a hero. Next he messes up a couple of grubbers and there threads like, "Would we bbe better without him?" Same with Koro, great player then he panics under the high ball a couple of times in a game and it's "not good enough for the NRL" despite having played there for 15 games at a decent level. Maybe not perfect but still.

Quite simply, we have a lot of supporters who only back us when we are winning.

Not even Golden will back us when we are winning

Well the good news is with 6 games to go eels keep losing

bad news is so do we with the magic number is 3 now. (providing we don't don't get to flogged worse then them though souffs and roosters will put 60 on us each

and they play us in 2 weeks.

Friday night its the wooden spoon grand final with 5 weeks to go. we win we SHOULD avoid the spoon

if eels win, they then would have to only win 2 out of their last 4 games to get the spoon, I know we lead F and A right now on them but not if they beat us by 40 Friday night
