The Finals

5 weeks ago I would of backed raiders all the way but now I I’m not so sure. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them play broncos again in the gf.
It seems no one has given the wahs a chance

I'm on the raiders....they deserve it after the crap they had to cop in the last GF they played. Wouldn't it be poetic if it was a raiders/rorters GF, that would probably motivate me enough to buy a raiders jersey. Only reason I hesitate is Ricky and his whining about everything all the time. I still remember 89, however that was against the previous team I supported.

Really feels like the winner of Raiders v Brisbane will have a rails run to the grand final and probably go all the way.

As good as the roosters are going i don’t think they’re consistent enough to put in 4 big performances

Dogs and Melbourne look cooked but one of them will end up with a week off. Warriors gone for obvious reasons, Sharks seem to make up the numbers every year but have been quietly been going about their business.. and Penrith are Penrith, if they end up doing it from 7th that would be their most impressive finals victory.

I’m sticking solid with the Grand Final victor coming from the Raiders v Broncos game, with the Raiders breaking their drought.

Sharks and Warriors to be eliminated first. Raiders and Dogs to go out in straight sets. Of course, the way this season has been going, all of these guesses could be wrong 🙂

Seems like the home ground advantage week1 /? advantage is due to close next year
Memory needs refreshing , Do the hosting team pocket gate profits week 1 or NRL .

Would Canberra had 50 put on them if they hadn't rested 10 players last week end? I'd say no, so I am going to discount the 50 point thing.

FWIW, I have read the entrails, and my final series tips are:

Week 1

Storm
Panthers
Roosters
Raiders

Week 2

Broncos v Roosters - Broncos
Dogs v Panthers - Dogs

Week 3

Raiders v Dogs - Raiders
Storm v Broncos - Storm

Week 4

Raiders v Storm - Storm

So the 50 point thing is true after all 😀

Right now, it's hard to see Dogs beating Panthers unless theres some injuries/suspensions are week 1.

Still think Roosters have a soft underbelly and will not be able to keep up when the better quality teams go up a gear. Dogs will probably go out in straight sets as they have been going at top gear for the first 3/4 of the year and have run out of steam. Penrith and Storm are still the 2 that have improvement in them....I'm backing the raiders, my only concern is a squad needs to lose one before they can win one...unless you are the 2005 Tigers.

Preferred winners, in order:
1. Canberra
2. Penrith
3. Warriors
4. Sharks
5. Storm
6. Broncos
7. Roosters
8. Dogs

Can't hate the Raiders.. i used to love watching them in the 90s and my neighbours uncle was Laurie Daley (it's a shame he's such a sh1t coach)..

I was anti Penrith for a long time because of Ivan getting us all on the bus, then pissing off - but I got over that... They are such a strong club and I would love to see them make it 5 in a row after being bottom of the ladder for the first 8 rounds (or whatever it was)... They are what great looks like - much more than the storm.. they breed their own juniors and still win comps when they lose stars.. the league fan in me wants them to win..

Couldnt really care about the rest - as long as the dogs lose... And Galvin fails... And we hear the deluded bulldogs fan boys like James Graham then spin it as a success, that they wouldn't have done any better with sexton...

On that, buzz showed some stats on 360 last night and the dogs were better off in attack with sexton over Galvin 🤣🤭🤭... The guy on Graham's podcast brought that up to and it's funny how defensive he gets.
