The full extent of Canturbury’s Salary cap hell

The penalty at the end to win them the game was legit… The knock on fair enough bad call.... It's all a mount from a molehill

That is only one incident from 100's Ink.

They need to take responsibility for the actions and in actions.

This fining coaches that are saying what everyone else is thinking is ridiculous.

I dunno what else they can do… There'll always be mistakes.... Look at the a-league GF.... I know it's frustrating but we just gotta cop it... There's no easy answer

Well, I think if they went into a game thinking that both sides are even, then penalise both teams equally for a strict 10 metres, square markers, no crowding at the PTB, but equally the player playing the ball can't push forward into the marker, same amount of time for both teams after the tackle (i.e. 5 secs 5,4,3,2,1, penalty) - sure there are a million others but that would be a start. Pie in the sky I know but they could at least try.

In a nutshell - treat both teams equally.

Archer went 2 years ago…

Yeah but his legacy lives on :bash

Surely in this day and age the human refs could be replaced with some sort of drone !

Clones ,Clowns ,Drones

Next thing Ford would have an operation set up in Sydney care of Mr Politis building drones

Maybe if they dropped a Ref or 2 for howlers occasionally..might send a message to the rest…

Maybe if we used technology more to help them it wouldn't be so bad

And we mad culprits of acts more culpable we'd fix issues

Any stripping or slowing of the play the ball sits out the next two sets of attack and defence

While scrum is packing on any potential strip it is viewed by bunker , very clear on most occasions

We send calls to video ref with no bias , then benefit of the doubt goes with the attacking side

Finally we seem to have the obstruction rule right , I can't remember the last time I disputed one of those

I guess the problem with contact sports , many things can easily go unseen

That's the problem with most sports it is black or white , yes or no , benefit of the doubt then goes with the umpire thereafter

And we get dudded by the same drone each week …

Consistency. Referees could find a penalty in every play if they wanted to, and often they do. But why do they ignore them at other times thats what really gets fans filthy I think.
The goal line defence penalties now seem a thing of the past yet the first few weeks teams like ours were caned.
No easy answer. If you drop them not sure how many are available to replace them.
But in a tight comp like this those who think they dont have an impact on the outcome of games need to lose one like we have and then their opinion may change.

The howler that irked me from the weekend was when Sue was so obviously taken out by the winger when directly in front of and a few feet from putting the ball catching RTS on his arse in the in-goal area. How on earth they can possibly miss an incident that blatant is beyond me.

Such penalties change the momentum of games and are just as critical as incorrect decisions made on attacking plays.

As for the dog's cap issues, got some lead around to further weigh them down.

Let's not go too far, Geo. Just add him to the list.

The current refs are so bad that even Greg Hartley looked good in comparison to them

One Ref would be one way to halve the mistakes but that would be too simple for Greenberg and his henchmen!

NRL 360 just mentioned Woods could be looking for a new home, along with Foran…
As an option with relief on cap pressure.

Wouldn't that be funny...

Woods at the Eels it titans 😂

Todd Greenberg, Tony Archer and most of the Referees need to fine themselves for bringing the game into disrepute.

Never have so few, made so many mistakes without taking responsibility for them.

Dean Pay was correct when he said _**"They don't want us to win"\
\**_
The Tigers could say exactly the same thing.

There are other clubs that get rorted every week as well.

They need a clean broom in the NRL - they get rid of the rorter John Grant and replace him with a nincompoop in Beattie.

Greenberg and Archer are just two more to go.

League will never be fair whilst these idiots are in charge.

Russ that's not quite correct, they just want the Broncos to win.
Slight difference, only very slight.

Bring back Jeffes and Jadwat.
And that other tug- Steve Clarke.

One easy fix for one of the problems is allowing the video ref to make a call on forward passes, especially for a try
