I have a feeling this might be similar to the Warriors game at Cambo last year, where everything we touch turns to magic. We are really due for a performance similar to that, however some may argue that came in our second match against Canberra.

However, we need to be prepared. Although we should win, we all know what happened against Souths a few weeks back when they blew us off the park within the first half hour. I really do think though with the HUGE home crowd advantage, Newcastle's vulnerability 'on the road', our big players returning (Tuqiri, Ellis and Toddy Payten) and Newcastle's injury woes (J.Mullen is a huge loss) we really will win by a big margin.

I couldn't count on it though with our form thus far this year. :unamused:

I have tipped a tigers smash up, but the heart and head would just be happy if we beat them solidly.

I'll just be happy with a win. Ellis and Tuqiri will be rusty and Tuqiri but hopefully with Galloway and Ellis back in the forward pack, the team should get better go forward throughout the match.

This game has & should have ..Wests Tigers by 13+ written all over it.
The Wests Tigers will come out firing , scoring within the First 5 minutes , and be up by 12 points after half time , but they will go with it in the second half, and smash the Knights well

I think there is extreme over confidence here. The Knight lose nothing with Mullen missing as they bring Gidley into the halves. They are up for a big game, but will we turn up?

My only advice is move up quickly in the forwards and bomb Wes all night.

The last time I heard this sort of cockyness was…........before the Souths game three weeks ago!

Some people just really OVER RATE us. we are not as good as people say. Honestly, we came third last year, but were we seriously that much better than a team who came 9th-10th.. simple answer is no we werent.

Look at our team. We have the worst fullback in the comp. And thats not a slate at MOltzen or even mckinnon, but go through every fullback and find me a worse one. We also have the worst kicking game in the comp, we have no pace out wide and our forward pack goes missing.

We are around a top 8 side. Maybe in the finals we could string some upsets, but we are nowhere near the top 3 or so sides.
