Best game I've seen all year. They bashed the crap out of each other. I really wish we could play like that. And yeah catai is a tool. He cops a tap an rolls around like his shoulder has fallen off then puts a massive hit on a 120kg monster. Like someone else said he is an attention seeking tool

He does have a serious shoulder/neck injury that causes him a lot of trouble

Unlike players from our club he doesn't back off and be in fear of reinjuring it , he just goes in harder next time with no thought for his own self preservation A bit like Fulton

I wish we had half a dozen Steve Matai style players at our club , we wouldn't be on the end of too many shellackings and we would never go down without a fight

**Yeah I've heard that before happy. Just seems like every time he knocks on, throws a crap pass or gets run over he grabs his shoulder. But then he comes up with a hit like that with no dramas. I reckon he bungs it on a bit sometimes that's all I'm saying**

Without a doubt. Sure his shoulder/neck must give him a bit of grief at times but if it was as bad of an injury that Matai makes it out to be then surely it would of ended his career by now.
Love the way Manly play….super aggressive, their games are always the best ones to watch for drama IMO. The one thing I have noticed is when opposition teams fight fire with fire against Manly instead of just meekly submitting to their physical style of play they more often than not beat the Silvertails.

Lyon isn't a whinger. He did exactly what Farah did couple weeks ago with the obstruction play, and how Farah kept going on about it 2,3 players later. The refs are inconsistent, unfair, blind, one-eyed and the players get the slack for "arguing and whinging". What are they supposed to do when unfair calls go against them and could potentially decide the match?

Lyons not a whinger? Lol. Yeah farah questions a few calls but Lyon sooks every single time something goes against them. When we played them someone speared Blake and he even sooked about us getting a penalty.

Yea thats true but Lyon does it every game - it borders on intimidation.

The refs bring it upon themselves with p#*s poor decisions. Yet another fantastic game was ruined last night by their ineptitude, it is a disgrace.
Would love to be able to watch one of these brilliant games of footy without some bell-end with a whistle having the biggest say on the outcome for once.
