They can have Bulla , so far he is not worth half the amount he is asking , his energy and commitment is low , Grey out performed him by a country mile last night , and with Luai and AD both out Bulla gonna need to stand up and stand out , , warriors next week , what do we expect is going to happen 30 + warriors win , this is reality , Bulla is already at the dogs in his head just waiting until he is legal to go .

Bula is like the Hotel California...hes checked out,but cant leave!

Yeah it’s not ideal …like I said earlier there are no good ideas I’ve seen so far , so they will need to pick one of the bad ones

And btw..Warriors are undoubtedly in good form..but theyre not gonna win the comp,nor are formidable like some of the Panthers or Storm teams of the past(think Storm 66/nil against us a year or two back,with NAS running rampant..)

Ideally Latu should be eased back into it by either playing NSW Cup or limited minutes off the bench and ideally Javon needs much more time playing NSW Cup, but regardless they are far better options than Api in the halves.
I can’t see this happening, but another option is getting an exemption to play someone outside of the top 30 due to injuries and playing Ben Stevanovic at 5/8.
He was very sharp and direct in our losing NSW Cup team yesterday.
You could see Javon’s class, but if you were purely selecting on who played the better game yesterday it would be Ben Stevanovic.
If this was to happen I’m highly confident he would be ready and up for the challenge.

How many games has Stevanovic had in cup?

Fully aware that it’s a left field suggestion but if Latu isn’t fit, I’m not sure the back ups have proven it yet.

I haven’t watched reserve grade but talk is Javon hasn’t been great.

Benji probably not reading this so we’ll see what he goes with.

He’s played 2 games and started at halfback for us yesterday.
Aside from that he’s a battle hardened experienced NSW Cup and Qld Cup player who defends ok, has a solid and confident kicking game and is a reasonable running threat.
Javon Andrews is obviously much classier, but are we throwing him in the deep end and crushing him too soon if we select him against the Warriors?

He looked very classy with Madden in the trials when he had space. I like Latu but he will be short of a gallop while Andrews does have some kilometres in his legs after two games of cup.

Or

7. Madden

Its a tough one.

At the end of the day, our back ups need to be able to slot straight in when the first choice halves are unavailable.

Latu should be our #14 and ease back into it

Im actually excited to see what happens in the next few weeks. I was confident we had little hope of making the 8 with Doueihi at 7, so this gives us a look at a different style of play. I certainly don't wish injury on anyone and I really hope AD is back soon.....just not at 7.
