The National Anthem

I can't stand the arguments you here about the certain actions of certain nationalities

I'm not the oldest on here ....not the youngest either .....but I've seen enough people to know that as many idiots every nation has .....that a lot more are well behaved and no nation has a bigger or smaller share of clowns

I do have questions in regards to Americans and the French .....but maybe that is just a bad luck thing

@cochise if this was the 70's your point would be valid. The nation is well aware of the 'situation' as you put it.

@happy_tiger Americans in particular confuse me. They seem destined to eat themselves such is the divide between the left and the right over there.

Why does everyone look 1/8 black too, they’re all light skin

The skin colour gene in Indigenous people in Australia is recessive, there are no throwback as with other races.

@cochise yes but not because of lack of knowledge nor effort. Maybe these millionaire sportsmen could be doing more? Sulking about the anthem and the Australian day date wont change a thing. All it will achieve is more division within communities.

But if these thing are causing distress or pain why wouldn't we look at changing them?

@Kev When is the anthem being changed? When is Australia Day being changed? When is the flag being changed? When are the other deeper issues being addressed?

@cochise I didnt say that they will be, I said we are looking into it...the conversation is being held. These guys arent pointing anything out that the vast majority dont already know.

@Kev as for adressing deeper issues, thats what the hundreds of billions of dollars spent through government programmes is aiding. No one is sitting on their hands.

@Kev These points are raised a few times a year, usually around Australia Day and the forgotten, How do indigenous people ensure these issues stay in the public domain?

@cochise it doesnt matter. Those that need to have acute knowledge are working on this all year round.

Kev you've done your bit

You said sorry ....we thank you for that

@cochise well what more can we do? They have subsidised education, healthcare, accomodation and careers to name a few. It is easier, bar those in the most remote communities, for them to live day to day than a decent percentage of non indigenous individuals. Yet these other groups thrive. They need to help us to help them instead of just sitting back and laying blame.
