Rabbitohs are pretenders; I think we’re a decent shot of beating them. We usually step up against the Storm, but they are out of our league, so I’m expecting a closer-than-expected loss.

I wish the weststigers could be pretenders just like the rabbits

They lost to the Panthers 56-12, and the Storm 50-0; they are not in the same class. Having said that, I would love to be a finals-regular like Souths.

Storm followed by Souths will show what a divide there is between the top eight and the bottom eight.

We have to be realistic and accept that we could be beaten by 50 in each game......that's how big the divide is.

As I said, be prepared.

To be fair, we wouldn't have expected to win against Panthers, Eels, Storm & Bunnies in these 4 games?
Not confident against Storm, but we always have a pretty good game against the Bunnies, so there is a bit of hope there.

Still a chance to reach the 8 imo.

I think 24 points is the absolute best we can finish on, will that be enough to make the 8 I’m not sure

Yeah, but we are still only 2 pts off the 8, and we have the bye to come, but certainly it is dependant on us and a lot of other results going our way. But with these new rules anything can happen?

Dragons will win today and we will be 4 points off the 8 with likely two losses in a row coming up. We will need to win just about all of our reminding games and other teams will have to lose if we want to make it, can't see it happening

Unfortunately that's been every year for a decade ? I will say though we've got more young talent then we've had since we lost Teddy Moses etc. but we need to put it all together

We match up well against Melbourne for some reason ....I think I checked it in either 2019 or 2020 ...since 2009 we have the 4th best record against them .....

I'll think about the Dischord thing. Like many, I do get extremely disappointed when we lose and at ttimes would like to vent a little more. At the end of the day though it won't change a thing so I usually prefer to focus on the small positives we have and the belief the club is starting to put better processes in place.
Moving to Nambucca this weekend so plenty to keep me occupied.
