The NRL has no Integrity

Annesley will have to be sacked soon.

You can only have the same talking head up there, explaining the same mistakes for so long before they lose all credibility. Annesley is at that point.

They have every right to make a legal challenge over the result.

The cowboys solely won due to a captain's challenge that is not allowed to go ahead according to the rule as defined in the rulebook.

Annesley has today said they can on the final play of the game and then tried to compare to other decisions that are completely different (tigers could have challenged if the escort penalty was blown on the field) or state of origin when somebody threw the ball out of play (resulting in a structured restart if play was to continue).

He never actually gave a good reason why the challenge was allowed to stand which gives Tigers a clear justification for legal action.

They already didn't you can watch Graham Annesley's press conference on the nrl website now.
Yep there it is. Integrity out, waffle in. Eat it up boys.
Basically he's saying the refs can completely alter the results of a game when they get an opportunity with plausible deniability. So the effort your team puts in over 80 minutes is less important than a referees call made in a few minutes and we will explain it all away afterwards.
Really, the players are just out there to distract the fans from the decisions about who will win.
Annesley says words to the effect 'we're just not happy with a penalty being awarded'...ok so the obvious thing that's missing is; What are you going to do about it?

Tamou actually tried to challenge on this basis but got told no.
This is the biggest load of shit as well . The cowboys could challenge but we couldn’t ? Based on an assumption that the offside was reviewed …… it wasn’t . The whole thing is a debacle , and gives weight to Klein needing to F off to England again . That’s about the level he’s really at

This is a genuine question. Does anyone think that the NRL powerbrokers care that Wests Tigers won that game?

Well said , the Tigers need to take this to court regardless so they can keep dragging the NRL name down , this result needs to be overturned and today , it was a disgrace and will be long remembered by many
the ROI isnt worth it.
unless a law firm is happy to take in on free of charge to market their name.
there is likely no legal recourse, just speculating.

Question that nobody is asking, is why did he blow a whistle if not for full time?

Such a pathetic way to hide that they royally stuffed up and can't accept full responsibility

I hope tge betting is investigated here and overseas.

Normally, when a side has returning backs like we did you get improved performance regardless of a teams quality, that's why I took them wjth start.

But we were really off in betting late drifting from $7 out to $13 which is unusual.

I doubt it
Head to head with a few Mins on the clock down by 7. Sounds like the right odds.

Would someone please explain to me which referee decision did the Cowboys captain challenge? It is an opportunity to challenge a perceived error of judgment made by a referee within a 10 second window of opportunity. The referee made NO decision on field which was open to a Cowboys challenge. This is all just making up the rules after the event. The captain can’t initiate a ruling and then challenge it!!! That is corruption in all senses of the word.
The Annesley explanations are completely illogical.
