Dreamt last night that we were down by 13 points with 10mins to go and we ran in 2 quick tries then on the buzzer Benji kicked a penalty goal to win us the match…God I hope it isn't that close tomorrow night, I don't think my heart can take another close match!!

Well then.

Last night my wife went out and saw wicked with some girly-friends, and I had the arduous task of sitting at home with the kids and watching some footy. A relaxing night to say the least, despite the Rorters rolling the titans.

I go down the shops and grab some brekkie this morning for the fam, and she calls me on the way back home. (On speakerphone, of course… :stuck_out_tongue🙂

"You love me so much" she says.

I say "Uh-huh, what do you need me to go back and get?" rolling my eyes.

She says - "You are going to the game tonight!"

I nearly run off the road into a parked car i'm so excited!

Turns out one of the girls she went with has a friend who works at acer arena. They had a few free tickets, and "unfortunately" the couple had a blue, and she doesn't want to go to the game (she doesn't follow footy anyway, and was only going to make up numbers)

So i scored the scorned Missus' ticket!!!! SUH-WEEEET!!

Now the OMEN: - I have never seen the tigers lose live at Olympic park. Ever.
Tigers/Knights(or eels?) - stadium australia opening in 1999 - I can't remember the exact result, but I know we won it.

(long gap here - uni student days - couldn't afford a ticket)

Tigers/Dogs 2005- tigers 54-2\. heh heh heh.
Tigers broncos - semi final 2005 - tigers 30-10
tigers dragons 2005 - tigers 20-12

and to top it off - THIS year, I haven't seen them lose live -

Tigers/Warriors - campbelltown - 50-6
tigers/penrith - campbelltown - 43-18
tigers/canberra - leichardt - 18-8 (GO FITZHENRY!!!)
tigers/melbourne - leichardt - 26-14

here's one

I was kicking some goals in the backyard at my makeshift goalposts, when I sent one sideways into the tree, got stuck in the branches. I threw some rocks and a stick to no avail, and then this gust of wind blew over sending the ball down (it was a big gust out of no-where and then disappeared)

I lined the next ball up (pretended it was 12-12 all and 80mins) from the sideline and I was Benj….and BAM straight threw the middle !!!!
