patty will lock up a wing. defensively great, tall, a jumper and solid. he may get caught out early while he adjusts, but his opposite may get more than a few kicks and attacking raids. trouble for koro? the one player i wished we never lost

I saw richards playing with a 3 on his back from his days in the NRL. So, obviously selected at centre for the week. Dunno how it went, but I would rather him there if he's any good than forcing a winger into NYC/NSW Cup or something like that.

His age is a worry, its a risk. But he has been travelling well , playing most games in ESL Can't think of a better player for Marika/Nofo to be mentored by.

Those extra 20 metres every dropout certainly help.

Like most of the "new" signings, I hope he is given an early start in first grade. Remember we ran second last so the current crop do not have a God given right to start in firsts. We were so poor that players like Patterson, Austin etc in my view should get first up preference. The clowns who under performed in 2013 should be the ones having to earn their places.

errr… what?

if you mean bombs and grubbers then probably, i dont recall him kicking any. but dropouts, kick offs and touch finders were great. goal kicking was oridinary but not a very large sample and i know he can kick 80%+ so thats not an issue.

Plus right side kick missed had heavy wind in his face

He only beat him for his first try. The other two Richards wasn't the defender beaten. He also beat more than just Richards for the first and Richards did wrap him up. Not a case of Uate giving Richards a bath really. One try can be semi attributed to Richards, the other two had nothing to do with him. Koro looks faaaaaaaaaaast.

needs to work on aerial game, defense was okay. didnt really face much traffic.

richards defence was okay, i mean it is UATE from 5m out and he didn't do too horribly.
