@ said:Yep, there is a certain clean out coming. Out of all the players we currently have, you might find that only a few will remain. Hoping we can also get a release on Lawrence, even if it means chewing 200k out of our cap.
@ said:With a new coach coming could we see a Manly style roster cleanout?
Players I wouldn't mind leaving:
Kevin Naiqama, Kyle Lovett, Joel Edwards, Jordan Rankin, Justin Hunt, Watson Heleta.

Heleta hasn't even made his debut yet has he? Bit harsh to be punting him before he plays a game IMO.
Plus didn't we sign him up to a decent contract last year?

@ said:Possibility? I think it is a certainty.
Naiqama is as good as gone already, Crazy didn't rate him at Penriff. Rankin, Edwards and Lovett would be as good as gone also. Add Idris to the list if he doesn't improve either.

Only way we'll move him on is if he goes to England.

Milky, you will only get rid of Rowdy if he wants to go. Two more years after this one, he might improve no end with a new coach as well.

Not necessarily against it, just saying it will be hard to move him on. I don't think any other NRL club will take him and I am not sure he'd want to ever leave to play against us.
@ said:For me I would have nothing against us getting rid of everyone that is of contract except woods and teddy. As for the rest including the halfs. None of them have produced the football we need to make the finals. We have had many of years of rubbish footy and I for one think a massive ovehaul is needed.
@ said:If Naiqama was smart he'd take up the first ESL deal the came up on offer.

Naquima played for Penrith when Cleary was coach and as such their would be some likelihood that he won't be shown the exit door in 2018\. There is an article in today's Daily Telegraph.

Naiqama played a hell of a lot of reserve grade under Cleary…
