@ said:Out of 8 players 3 are breaking the cardinal sin
DON'T TURN YOUR BACK
The Under 13's I help with get that
Amateur hour yet again , why this club has issues
Can't get their melons around the basics of the game
Or maybe they are too good for that ….

you obviously played in the same era as me, cause thats what i was taught. but players these days are told to do just that as it gets them back quicker. seems ridiculous to me.

Exactly. Its determinned to be much more efdective, gaster and energy saving to run back into line. **The old "dont turn your back" theory would result in evem more tries.**

@ said:If you watch the video Sue is just standing there catching his breath and Blair just runs straight through where he should be standing.
@ said:Sue is a prop. He does make some good hit-ups but that obstruction yesterday and his ability to wave the opposition player through a gap to me means he shouldn't be playing on the edge.
@ said:And then honestly Tedesco makes an absolute meal of the cover, Blair doesn't even put a move on or anything he just arcs to his right and Tedesco absolutely doesn't read it, barely makes contact in the dive.
