Spot on….we need to face the facts…no player wants to come here,and without an established NRL side no junior wants to stay here when they are ready for NRL

We turnover 10-14 players every season, so what’s different now?
Very sad but also very true.We are not back at square 1 but we have not even reached it.

Just adding to this...
FULLBACK: Tupou may be the answer. Has the potential to be a lot better than Laurie.
SECOND ROW: Blore... we all tend to have forgotten him. If he can dev into a rep level second rower, it would be massive for us.
But...hardly played in four years now (including that he barely played his last year at Penrith).
He may end up one of those blokes like Tautau Moga who we simply never see at their best. Lets hope Blore's path changes and he gets some luck.

Infinite rebuild.
Am I playing the game correctly.
I want to put a competitive pack on the field for the rest of this year but can't come up with 6
Mikhalae gone, Luciano gone , kelma playing like he wants early release to manly , Garner doing ok but he seems to be our best center, Tamou playing 35 mins in semi retirement , Twal and Blore out for season , That leaves Joe and Stefano who's playing limited minutes plus some Reggie's promotions
We just don't have a 1st grade pack and need urgent mid season recruits
With regard to backs the attack is clunky etc but hard to judge them playing behind 2nd rate pack

Reality is any backline player we sign would be wasted $$$ until we get some decent forwards.
We need forwards that bend the line and have a high offensive work rate whilst on the park. None of this 40mtrs or less crap.
Fixing our forwards has to be the priority.
If we think things are bad this year well our forward roster looks worse next year.
Api and Papa will not make a dent next year without help. Api solves a hooker problem but not a go forward issue. Papa is a great recruit but atm its 1 starting forward in with 4 starting forwards out. Our team actually gets weaker next year unless some youth steps up or we pull off some major deals.

I’m glad Luci, Kelma and Garner are gone. Tamou too. All part of the problem. Just need some half decent replacements.
Apparently we have a star studded team of 18 yr olds .If the plan is to wait 2 or 3 years till they are old enough and big enough to play NRL .I don't think the fans will wait that long and if any of them show super talent then the roosters dolphins ,dogs etc will poach them anyway

This x1000. We need forwards, we havnt really ever had reliable props who run the ball from the back fence. We can bring in cronk, Munster, slate and smith but without forwards we will get nowhere, we need new forwards desperatly, guys with mongrel.

We need at least three new forwards on two year contracts who can do a job till the kids start coming on the scene.
If we keep playing like we are now, no one will come and the kids will start to walk. Everything coming out of the club at present is negative and that is going to make recruitment near impossible.

Every day that goes by morale in the playing group and amongst supporters will continue to drop.Not making decisions is our worst enemy as it continues to make matters worse.
As always the club fails under pressure

As am I but the issue is we don’t yet have their replacements and without replacements we are stuck with Seyfarth getting heaps of game time.
