The refereeing

The walker try was a knock on from that cluster of bodies on the line. There was a south's hand on the ball when Alex Johnston lost it... taffe was off side at the kick where south's challenged the knock on and won ( was the only time i haven't seen the bunker play the entire play leading up to the challenge)...twal was sin binned for the exact same infringement that happened to tigers 35 seconds earlier.. the Brooks disallowed try was try, Yes his hand hit the ball over the top in the action of making a tackle but that's never called a knock on ever. Ken M being off side was extremely harsh but probably correct but again have never seen the bunker rule off side before. The commentary team had red and green undies on they were so biased all night

Couldn't believe the Twal sin-binning after Souths did the exact same thing moments ago.

Exactly. I couldn’t believe the inconsistency. They never got back, forced us inside and we get 6 again. Alex Twal is 1-2m off the line and they get a penalty AND a sim bin. Six again before their last try was a ridiculous call in the context of the game and thank god for the review otherwise we’d be getting the traditional Annersley “sorry we dudded you” on Tuesday.

Disagree on the Brooks try. In fact that is normally always a knock on if you hit the ball making a tackle. The only time it wasn’t called was the Titans game against us of course…

Annesley won't give us another apology this year because it makes his stooges on the field look incompetent and biased.

The ref last night gave Souths every leg up to win the game.....

The 6 again on the 5th, for Souths to score a try was a gift, as was the Twal sin bin.... and the Ken M millimeter offside no try was also splitting hairs....
Yea his first half was quite bias towards the rabbits

I thought he was just poor generally for both sides. Although unlike other weeks I didn’t feel like every decision went against us, actually we seemed to be on his good side for the most part. As another poster wrote- maybe that’s what happens when you carry the momentum and are dominating a game.

Yea that Brooks no try was a strange one - his hand never touched the ball - the action of grabbing AJs arm knocked the ball free - should have been play on.

💯 1 camera angle from 50 meters behind the play .. i think they only choose which camera angles that suit the agenda which being Souffs pride of the league crap
Ken may be 30cm offside in the pic below, but it is not an NRL line. Is it from soccer, a mowing accident? Is it straight? Considering how far Ken is from Hastings, how could Ken see to be that exact? Very tough call, some benefit should be given to the attacking team.

Just highlighting more inconsistencies faouring the top teams, Daniel Tupou head hight tackle today, a penalty and on report.
If that had been a player from a lower team he would had got at minimum 10 in the bin or sent off, Rooster player neither.
It was much worse that Milne's shot on Daine and he got 10 in the bin.
It's pretty hard to justify 10 in the bin for a player being inside the 10 metres and tackling a player, when nothing happens to Tupou.

Today was a massive failure by the ref 2 touchies and the bunker, not one of them was prepared to call it a send off.

If that had of been someone from Saints such as Josh MaGuire…they may have strung him up on the field.
