That is a bloody strong KOE team and a bloody weak NRL team in 2022. Any one who thinks we should be anywhere near the top 8 is on hard drugs.
 
Brooks is a 6 and AD is a 7...

Well. That makes things easier for everyone.
 
Is anyone here willing to say that we have a Roster that anywhere above the bottom 4 teams in the competition.

How many of our current players would be in any of the top 6 clubs today?

None would be

That's on the NRL everyone has the same cap yet the gulf is so big they are kidding themselves that it is a great product. I enjoy watching.the good teams, but watching the lower teams is hard. Like watching reserve grade.

Currently Stef is definitely not 7/10 and how about waiting for Doueihi, Roberts, Nofo and Talau to come back to see where they are at.

These guys are currently not on the field and you cannot rate them on past form so on present value to the team they are all 0/10 based on the on field value that they provide.

Other than that I pretty much agree with the point that you are putting across.

We know Kelma, Garner and Luciano will be playing in the top 6 teams.

I think about half of the squad are NRL standard,
Out of this lot of a dozen of players i would say, Hastings, Doueihi, Laurie, Naden, Stefano, Joe O, Musgrove, and Twal,

My opinion is that they would all be playing in a top 6 team.

Our roster was always bottom 4. In reality we were favorites for the spoon.

There is hope:-

1. Hastings looks really good.
2. Doueihi is yet to come back.
3. Brooks being moved from 7 has improved his game a lot. Alternatively having a quality halves partner has made a difference.
4. We have a fair few guys like To'a, Kepaoa and Naden who may turn into regular quality NRL players.
5. We have Api coming next year to improve out worst position.
6. Musgrove, Stef, Joe O and Twal form the basis of a good set of middle forwards.

The problem is we need to sign a couple of elite level NRL talent or have juniors come through who are elite.

We haven't developed a good junior in years. Penrith have basically built a team on their juniors. We need 2 elite NRL players to come through.
 
What players have improved?

The whole team is playing better the last six weeks, barring one half on Saturday.

Has the style of football they’re playing evolved?

Yes. A new side with Hastings guiding them.

On the recruitment front are they signing the right players?

Yes. Hastings, Papali’i and Koroisau. Doueihi, Hastings and Laurie looking to extend.

Our recruitment and player development has been average to poor for such a long time.
There's a million issues with the NRL CBA and the way it affects clubs, but the club is it's own worst enemy for the most part.

Not starting they wouldn't....
I also don't really see any of those players ousting the incumbent in any of the top 6 teams.

Bar Doueihi - Cos, You know... He's a god!!
(Even when he's not playing)
 
What I take from Terry’s list is we have no 8’s. not one player is an 8/10 from a biased tigers supporter. No offence Terry.
Every fan is usually a little bias even when they think they not, and 7/10 is the best we got.
