Pearce what a horrible idea. As much as I love Robbie neither a coach nor a CEO should be taking ultimatums from a player even if it is the captain.Marshall and Sironen are our best options in the halves
 
Pearce shows no vision, and certainly lacks that class and x factor a player who demands his wage should have. As a footballer i like him, as a halfback i dont rate him much. He's super fit, good speed and plenty tough…....would make a great hooker.
 
Yes Pearce is average, but he is exactly what we need - an actual halfback! He knows how to kick, feed the backline and he is a pretty solid defender - that's all that really matters. Look at what Keating has done this year at the Bulldogs and he is even more average than Pearce. Pearce also combines well with Robbie already, which is a bonus and don't forget his mate Anasta will be here. Combinations all over the place! Hope there's actually legs to this rumour.

Come to think of it, this is beginning to make some sense. Robbie expressed his sentiments about not having a proper half at WT earlier in the year when he said how good it was to actually play with one during the rep games. The club buying a real halfback would be his major stipulation I imagine if he is, in fact, threatening to leave.

It does make a little sense. But what doesn't make sense is why he would go to parramatta to play alongside a halfback. They haven't had a decent half since Peter Sterling.

The ones saying things like: 'He's average' or 'he's got no vision' have got to be kidding yourselves. If the best halfback in NSW isn't good enough, then there is not, and will not be one that is, apart from your JTs and your Cronks (and as if that's ever going to happen)
