Manly showing how you improve your F/A against newcastle, we should have done this the last 2 weeks.
We lost to the knights in rd1 and nearly lost again in rd2, the knights only win was against us.
We have had some very poor weeks we had the chance to atone the F/A the last 2 weeks and failed, this will bite us later on.

They're going to be only one win behind us with a better f/a after this game.
What a finish its going to be to the season

I think the dogs will get them in rd 23, so even if we lose to the cows if we beat the titans we should still be 2 in front, but yeh mate it is getting close.

Not being negative but I see probably one more win in us and two at the most, but while we are still a chance we will go close to beating anyone, but we just lack something. I see the Titans game as a win and possible the Warriors or Penrith. Just can not see us beating the Cows or Canberra.

Although I think we have done a good job this season and with some luck could have been top four. All the Taylor bashing I just do not understand 😛ray:

While we have improved this year under JT my major problem with him is his team selections and lack of accountability when making team selections.

Supercoach what we lack is a good selection policy and accountability. The Farah boat has sailed, but how we continue without a recognised hooker is beyond belief. Reshuffling half the team to put your winger there and your second rower in the centres is ludicrous. Edwards instead of Felise?? Our right hand defence unaccountable week in week out. So not Taylor bashing, just things that shouldnt be happening in first grade.

Tigerman80,

Like most others I would have Farah in the team in a flash and I would have JAC on the wing, but I still believe this team has come on in leaps and bound. They are becoming a hard bunch of footballers and we have not had that in years. I am not getting carried away by the last two weeks, we beat a very average Dragon side, and a depleted Parra side, but we are developing a culture and the coach has to be given some credit along with the troops. With all the Farah drama the players have been professional and had a dig.

Anyway as I said I think the sun is about to set on our season, but you have to take heart, we pushed the Storm to the limit twice and they will probably go close to winning the title, so I think 2016 has been way better than I expected…and I would like to think next year is going tp be better

The team and club have had the best season in years ..unfortunately the Farah brigade want blood so Taylor has to go ,like that is going to happen.
I pretty much think the season is done and dusted the finals are just out of reach unfortunately ,a couple more wins should put the icing on the cake for what has been a very improved and good season.

Supercoach i agree with alot you said. The next 6 weeks will be huge, we could win all of them, but we could also lose all of them. We have faded out in the last stage of the season so many times before so who knows what to expect. If we sneak into semis then we will all stand up and applaud JT. But could easily go the other way and we finish 12th or 13th.

Yet they only won by 5 points more than we did.

Here are the facts big boy, in 2 games verse the knights we are 36 the knights 30 for 2 competition points, the eagle are 62 knights 26 for 4 competition points, so they are plus 36 and 4 competition points to our plus 6 and 2 competition points. :astonished:

The success we've had the last 2 months, it must be getting harder and harder to twist the fact we actually are a competitive team now. When was the last time we were still in contention for the 8 this late in the yr?

Don't completely disagree with you guys, the club has improved this year and Taylor deserves some credit.

However your trying the old "we have no chance of finals" i at odds to what Taylor believes. We have a good squad and we are right there. If you have that much faith in taylor well then you know this Top 8 (Top 9) is very achievable.

Were right in the race and can easily win 3 of the last 5 if we pick the best side and play well. We have 2 games at Leichhardt and play all the teams on equal points.

The teams around us are no better then us and we play them all. Im sorry but its all to play for and this is when we need to play well when the pressure is on.

If we dont make the "top 9" with the roster we have, then this year would have been a failure. Happy to write off last year with a new coach, new structures and a relatively inexperienced halves combination. No excuses this year, if panthers and titans can make it no reason we shouldnt be there.

I am not twisting the facts, I am hoping we make the 8, but we need the coach to pick the best team, not just say he is picking the best team, I have picked the tigers the last 2 weeks, a no brainer in the tips.
But next week we play a decent side, we can't have JT's half baked hooker rotation if we are any hope, it is pretty simple really, well to most of us it is.

851…..agreed....I think Farahs dropping was well planned, knowing that the Dragons and the Eels were very beatable and that might keep a few of the critics away. In saying that, he might be on the money, Moses has risen to another level. I just think if we are going to jag another three wins,Farah and JAC have to be in the team. Nobody can convince me Edwards offers more than Farah and Rankin offers more the JAC, but I am not on the inside and I do not know what is going on behind the scenes

I wasn't a fan of Edwards selection either, but he added some starch in the middle last night. And it seems the talk of him playing dummy half was palava

Maybe Taylor thought farah would go back to reserves for these two easy games and work on his game, the way taylor wants him to play.
He may have been thinking that a stint in reserves may have finally got the message through to him and he'll come back bigger and better.

Whevever happens this week I am looking forward to getting to Leichhardt to support the team this Sunday.

Its been a good 4 or 5 years since we had finals in our reach this late in the season and i cant wait to get out there.

I think with a big crowd we might be able to rattle the cows. It has been to long since we had a big game at Leichhardt.

Was out last night and did not see the game, just watched the replay and agreed Edwards went okay and Rankin was okay to

Edd my heart agrees, but my brain tells me our right edge will get exposed time and time again by the crafty old JT, not mention his kicking game and of course they will be hurting after a defeat at the hands of the Storm. If Jt doesn't play Morgan will do the same damage

Supercoach if you thought Rankin was ok, it must have been one hell of a night out.

Morgan plays almost exclusively on the right so he'll be running at our left. JT and Coote will attack our infamous right.

I'm sure if JT plays he will attack our right side at every chance he gets, that's my only worry with this game, I think we can match it with the Cowboys in the attack and forwards department but out right side defence is a shambles
