Gee it's going to be tough to make the 8.
Our next three games are must win, Warriors, Knights and Bulldogs.
Lose any one of those and it's good night I reckon.

From the last six, I can only maybe see us only winning two, Manly and Souths.

Roosters, Penrith, Melbourne and Parra I don't think we can realistically win.

Can we make the 8 ?.....it's going to be very difficult.


Agree can't afford to drop any games from Teams below us.
One thing that i like is that Madge has given most players a crack this season however still worried about our Half/ 5/8 combination?
AD is safe option but does not give us lots of variety in attack with speed.
Harry well we know what he brings so we half maybe half a spine sorted.

Knights losing players will help and of we win against them they might slide out of the 8 completely in a few weeks.

Must win games are Rabbits / Manly as they are bottom 8 teams.
Like to see Dragons beat Sharks this weekend, wonder of SCOMO did the revised draw when it was released....lol
In reality knowing prior seasons we most likely will finish 9th........again

Compare that to the Sharks who will probably make the 8 just by beating up on the bottom few teams in the comp and will probably get blown out week 1 of the finals.

Last year the Broncos limped into 8th spot (at our expense) and were promptly blown away by Parra by 60 - 0 (or something similar). They were pathetic, and a harbinger of things to come.

I was wondering at the time, if I had the choice, would I rather we came 8th and then get flogged by Parra (which is particularly humiliating), or come 9th. I'm still not sure which I would prefer.

Certainly, if we make the 8 this year, we will have to beat a number of very good teams, and would stand a good chance to go deep into the finals.

Opps yes sorry getting the draw confused, no wonder my tipping is going backwards. Think the dragons were robbed against the sharks and there a team that can be nuisance value and will fall just short of the 8.
Like to see them beat both the Rabbits and Knights in a later round.

Need to win our next 3 which is absolutely doable:

1. Warriors
2. Knights (with injuries)
3. Bulldogs

**From there, we will have tough opposition**, but being positive, perhaps it's a blessing in disguise? Tougher opposition might mean we will have had the match practice against the top teams and help us topple a big scalp?

So will the teams we play when they come up against us, if we keep going the way we have been.

The point is that we don’t have luxury of not playing the best available players, for too many year we lost games that were crucial to play finals. Warriors game is not any different! Go Tigers!

Sharks knocked us out in the final round last season. they are the stumbling block for Wests tigers to reach the finals.

How annoying was Mulitalo during that game. When I knew we'd lost the match, all I as hoping for was for someone to knock him out cold.

Hopefully we get one over them this season.

He was carrying on like a "pork chop" in the game against Saints the other night as well.

We need to get Packer onto him.

For me - I think we have proven we can compete against the best, as shown in our efforts against Parra, Canberra and Panthers. We played against a full strength parramatta with a number of our players out with injury and we still competed right to the end. I am quietly confident, especially now we are getting troops back. I'm hoping brooks can find his mojo as then we'll definitely make the 8.

If we win two of the next three that would be good and would give us a glimmer.
But then we will need even more luck to win even one or two of our last six games. Any more is a bonus IMO.
The team is playing some good footy, but unlike other years I’m not getting my hopes up.

If I was to use the last 6 weeks as a guide to our form, I'd have to say we are a good chance of winning our next 3 matches and lift our F/A in the process.

This is where our season begins really. The next 3 matches are must-win mainly because we play a team ahead of us in Newcastle.

If we can lift the F/A by 50 or 60, then that will put us into a strong position leading into the last 6 games.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the last time we won 3 in a row...

Well it certainly was a hard run home.
We missed the Finals again and I can see us finishing 13th.
Only beating the Dogs, the Broncs and The Cowboys from the bottom.
Very disappointing season...
