The Run Home

I'm probably going to get a lot of hounding with the old cliche of "don't worry about the competition, let's just make sure we win our last five games", but I thought a look at the run home for the Tigers and a few of the other teams around us could start some interesting discussion.

**Wests Tigers - 8th (24/+17)**
Dragons (H)
Panthers (A)
Eels (H)
Titans (H)
Sharks (A)

**Newcastle Knights - 7th (24/+25)**
Raiders (H)
Warriors (A)
Broncos (H)
Bulldogs (A)
Souths (H)

**New Zealand Warriors - 6th (26/+82)**
Broncos (A)
Knights (H)
Panthers (A)
Dragons (A)
Cowboys (H)

We have the easiest run home by far. What also works in our favour is that the two teams above us still play each other, so neither are guaranteed a perfect run home. Both still have the Broncos in the coming weeks as well.

The problem with WT is we have a tendency to lose to the lesser teams, so that makes our run home probably just as difficult as the others. Hopefully, by this stage of the season the boys have overcome this problem and will bury teams such as the Eels, Sharks and Titans next time they meet.

Eels and Panthers both have been bogie sides for us in the past
We struggle against titans
and always smash the sharks :/

The Warriors have a tough road home- Broncos, Dragons and Cowboys. That said, Flippedy has a fair point about the WTs. It's old but it's simple, the WTs will have to concentrate on a game at a time and focus on winning each when it comes up.

The exciting and frustrating thing about the Tigers is we never know what team will turn up

I am very happy about the Completion Stats in the last three games and its no surprise they have coincided with wins. If this is continued, We will go a long way to frustrating them and then the Chokers thing that is sewn into that Red V will start creeping into their minds.

Make no mistake, This Game is There for us to Win on Friday night.

One club everyone is failing to look at that may fall away is the Dragons . Dragons lose to us they have
Roosters h
Storm a
Warriors h
Penrith a
If they only win 2 of their last 4 and we win all five we can overtake them as well I'll give them the the Roosters and Penrith games but Storm at Melbourne no way and they will struggle against the Warriors especially if they also think they can overtake them

I agree. And the Broncos - they have:
Warriors h
Cowboys a
Knights a
Souths h
Manly h

I know they are playing good football, but that's a tough draw. If the Warriors beat them this weekend they will only be 1 game clear of the 6th place Warriors, and it's game on. If we manage to beat Saints, then 4th and 5th spot are 'live' and up for grabs.

With a bit of lick and us winning the games we should we can finish 6th. I had us finishing on 30 pointsby losing to manly and dragons but winning our last 4 now I project 32 points with that win over manly. I see warriors and knights finishing on 30 max
