THE scrum with 28 sec's left

Since when is it okay for a prop to not pack properly, then dive out of the srum and jump on the ball. What makes it even worse is that in any game, it should have been a TIgers penalty, let alone a semi final with 28 seconds to go with 1 point in it.

It was a Tigers penalty every day of the week. We were ripped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :imp:

We should never have lost the scrum! Why wouldn't Rhino drop on it straight away in that position?? Dwyer won us the game but we threw it away.

When has the suntan bed hero ever been interested in being fair, with only a five man scrum it didn't take long for the Rorters to realise that we were vulnerable in a tight situation, we were dudded a little bit!.

Penalty - you CAN NOT JUMP ON THE BALL FROM THE SCRUM - learn the rules. Penalty to Tigers - end of story.

i just don't see what heigno was waiting for he had ages, the commentators said the foot knocked the ball but he had ages!!!!!!! i am so pissed off lol

That will be a moment in Tigers history I'll never forget. The plan was simple yet the Tigers found a way to screw it up :frowning:

Incorrect - if the ball has left the scrum then you can!

A prop can not break from the scrum and jump on the ball.

Regardless - watch the replay and watch how the roosters prop packs the scrum.

If you believe that is anything but a TIgers penalty - go watch soccer.

That scrum should have been about ball security - nothing else!!! The Tigers lost the game and it came down to this scrum….....Imagine being knocked out of the finals on a scrum lost against the feed. Could happen.

Anyone twisting that away from the fact that all Heighno had to try was fall on the ball is clutching at straws. Heighno played a great game but he simply lost it there.

OMG. Learn the rules. It aint clutching at straws.

A PROP CAN NOT JUMP ON THE BALL FROM THE SCRUM. He is offside.

STOP BAGGING HEIGHNO. He was trying to allow the ball to remain in the scrum - stupidly I might add - he should have bloody picked it up. But that doesn't take way from the fact that it was A PENALTY!

THE ROOSTERS PROP WAS OFFSIDE AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN PENALISED. LEARN THE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No apologies for shouting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There has to be someone working with the referees keeping stats and talking to them at half time or during the game.
There is a stage in close games where referees let go things that they penalised for less earlier in the game.
I think instead of having the balls to back and call what they see they play to statistics and stop blowing penalties.
That was the case tonight. We were crucified in the first half, then there were no more penalties.
I have had a gutfull of referees and the inconsistency and incompetence of having two referees.

And Lote held off the ball was a penalty too…...!!!!!!! And Benji's punch had no effect on the Ellis try.......and so on and so on.
BUT- with 30 seconds to go, winning by 1, ball security was the number one priority - it was not a chance to push for a penalty o0r anything else - we had it in the bag (again!!) and lost it.
And it will be an uphill climb to get psychologically ready for next week if we get the chance.

Would've been a Roosters scrum. Lote knocked the ball down, ref should've called it no advantage.
