The Teams we cannot beat :(

I wrote the Tigers off after they got pumped by Souths and didn't think they would have a hope in their next 3 games, because all of those sides were in better form. The Tigers won all 3 thankfully and with a couple of decent players to return, the Tigers are in with a decent show for all the remaining games. Should get the Sharks at Leichhardt, Souths are beatable with some of their big forwards injured, stop Hayne and you stop Parramatta, Penrith have shown they can't score unless the ball goes up in the air…A top 4 finish is not beyond the Tigers if they aim up in defence.

I reckon the Top 4 will remain the same as we see it today. Whether we finish 4th or 3rd, our F&A will determine that. This week will be a Good start to gain some momentum in that department…

We have the 'cattle' simply because not many teams play the same style of football as we do. Our 'cattle' is just a different breed... The key is to put last week behind us, each player to have a long hard think and reassess their personal goals for the remainder of the year, and get back to playing 'our' style of football.

C'mon Tigers :sign:

Defense and a stable backline over the last six rounds and we win 4-6 of these games.
The pressure is on more for teams below us to make the eight.

im 100% confident we will make the finals but we really need beau wade and ellis back soon. I reckon the titans clash will determine whether we make the top 4 and i really hope we do make the 4.

Another thing people need to remember, we could well be into 2nd after this weekend…

Both Penrith (out of form and against the Cows) and the Roosters (against the Hayne Train/Plane/Pain/Drive me insane) both could well lose, So if we were to win we are outright 2nd and all of a sudden looking good again...

Add to that the Dragons drop points to the Horses and we are 1 win off the top..

Cheer up people, whatever happens we will be making the semi's and if you were told that at the beginning of the year im pretty sure everyone would have taken that...

GOOD THOUGHT 😛ray:

Really good reading all your posts, im feeling better, keep em coming along with your own predictions…

...and yes as i stated i hope i get proven wrong, im no octopus. :sign:

My assesment on our prospects for winning against the better sides around us is not at all good ..from what I have seen in the last couple of weeks of our performances and the performances of these teams is we have no hope in the buissness end of the season .I believe we just don't have the impact in the forwards we don't have a kicker (this is the deal breaker)and of corse a coach that believes playing favourites with selections is a better idea than starting actual players that can have an impact…this is only my opinion I watch every game every week and the improvement in some of these teams has been huge and the sluggish school boy footy we play is crazy. I really need to see at least 25/30% improvement across the park to start to think other wise ..hopefully there is a method in what has been happening maybe there waiting to turn up the flame because they need to and fast.

have we not beaten the eels 2 times the past 2 years?? should have been 3 had a fluke bounce not gone to the so called god

Does anybody recall hearing that a Sheens coached team has never beaten a side coached by J. Lang… it would be a good hoodoo to break in two weeks time...

I hate being pesamistic …..but Ive followed Balmain for 40 years so I suffer some sort of mental scaring.....but realistically we could loose all 6 ......just have a uneasy feeling about Cronulla this week....there well over due and with Sheens picking his normal 2 or 3 turnstiles anythings possible

Well, with the team he picked, we shouldn't have a problem dispatching the sharks.

Bloody hell some people are ready to slash their wrists. We are still 4th (i don't know how but we are)

Sharks-This game worries me but we should put them to the sword if we are serious 28pts
rabbits-Revenge will be on our minds & they rarely beat us twice in one season & are walking wounded 30pts
panthers-Have the wood on us but they are slipping in form & in front of a massive campletown crowd we should win 32pts
eels-i will put this down as loss. The jesus plane might be to hard to stop 32pts
storm-storm will be thinking of their Bali trip by round 25 & we have a good record against them 34pts
titans-We go one for one with the tits so we will probably lose 34pts

Its not all doom & gloom yet. 34pts will be enough for a top 4 spot & remember we are still 100% in a finals series :stuck_out_tongue: :sign:
TIGERS v DRAGONS GF TIGERS 2010 PREMS :wahoo:

If the team picked runs out on the field on saturday we have no excuses, possably the strongest team feilded since we lost Moltz…

Agree

I think we have a good chance of winning all of them except the Parra game. They'll be in the middle of a winning streak and will be very hard to beat, Rabbits defense is questionable, I think we can roll them, and Penrith are a well-drilled team but are very basic and struggle to score points with ball in hand. With a big game due to be scheduled on the sunday, I think we will fire up and beat them.
