There seems to be more unknowns this year then in a long time at the Tigers.
Like who will be our centres and wingers,
how will Tui go at fullback,
how will Brooks go without Moses and with Reynolds.
But by far my biggest unknown is Benji Marshall.
When he was signed on I was sure he would be playing State Cup and only called up to cover injuries.
Then i started leaning towards he might be the bench utility.
But now with him being named co-captain (albeit 1 of 5) I have a feeling he will be a big part of the first grade team, but where to use him.
I've got a sneaky suspicion he will play some 5/8.
I may be totally of the mark, but with Liddle still recovering for the early rounds I can see Marshall coming on at 5/8 and Reynolds moving to Hooker to give McKillwrick a spell. It just makes a bit more sense then having Marshall at hooker and allows for slightly differernt attacking structure with Benji having a bit more ball playing ability then Reynolds.
I'm sure Cleary has some ideas and some fallback plans, but i see the first 4 rounds until Liddle is available as a determining factor in how much we will see Benji in First Grade.
