If I was Tedesco I’d be disappointed.

Best player in the world barely gets a mention in here.

I would rather have Paps in my team if I had to choose between Paps and Tedesco

It’s getting closer but I’d still rather Teddy. I think he’s one of the few players in the game that can lift an ordinary team. Paps adds X factor to already good teams IMO.

You can’t say that because you have seen Tedesco in an ordinary side. You haven’t seen Paps.

Saw him in 20s. Also saw Tedesco in 20s. Teddy had a much bigger impact. That's all we have to go off. I've never seen a team depend on one player as much as we did for that period.

Pre Origin last year Papenhuyzen imo overtook Tedesco as the No 1 fullback in RL.

That’s your opinion. I disagree, as do the NSW selectors.

Gee Teddy had a chance to lift an ordinary team when he was here, and how did that work out?

And he did. Problem was he was in a team with Jordan Rankin, Kyle Lovett and Joel Edwards. He’s only one man but he carried us.

Agree with what you are saying, but my main point was that even he couldn't lift us into the 8.

Quite frankly I was disappointed when he left but he did enough to show me at least, that he probably wasn't a person of the highest character.

Just looking back at the way he treated us stalling on contracts that were on the table, preventing us from planning properly for the future, especially after the way we stood by him and supported him during long term injuries, then there was the Canberra contract situation and stories about him hitting on girl friends/partners of other players.

Whatever you may think of players like Moses Mbye, at least he has shown great character in the way he has acted in relation to his current contract situation and the way he generally conducts himself.

Yeah I agree, I don’t like the way he acted during the negotiations and I’m disappointed he didn’t want to stay. That said, pulling his contract so we could make offers to Reynolds and co was a big mistake.

I was only speaking about his footballing ability because I have no idea what went on behind closed doors. I view him the same way as Paps, JAC, etc. They all chose to leave when off contract. They could have stayed but chose to leave.

Never once have I heard commentators say oh wow the Dogs made a huge mistake letting Ennis & Cook go and lambasting them for it like they do WT about both Tedesco and Papenhyuzen leaving.

Dogs have one of the all-time howlers (pun intended) - retaining Brent Sherwin in preference to Johnathan Thurston.

Broncos turned down Cameron Smith.

You are correct there are a tonne of examples.

Thurston would have stayed at the dogs for $220,000, but they didn’t put a contract in front of him. Blunder of the century.

Your kidding. I would swap 4 momo’s to get Laurie.

And I would give you a Mbye, JTJ, Talau, AJ & BJ for each of those Momo’s. So as an exchange rate Laurie is worth 5 times as much as the rest of our backline put together.

When Edwards comes back, and Crichton goes back to centre. Would you play Momo or burton?

If he was on loan and came back to the tigers would you pick BJ, AJ and Talau ahead of him?

Yes , I don’t rate him at all. He’s slow, good for atleast two errors a game.

Branko Lee kept him out of the storm team. You didn’t answer my question.

Not the biggest fan of Momirovski but geez I’d take him over BJ and Kepaoa in a heartbeat. You’d be kidding yourself if you wouldn’t

KEPAOA is a newbie with plenty of upside. BJ on his day can win you a game singlehandly. Momo is at full potential and in a team like the tigers he would be mediocre. It’s why he’s playing at his 4th team in 4 years.

BJ has never won us a game yet but he has certainly helped us lose a few,as far as AJ is concerned there is a possibility he will be a decent player in time but at the moment Momo is a better proposition

Just remember .....Tom Terrific told WT's recruiters that Thurston was too small ...before the Dogs made the call on Sherwin / Thurston

Actually ... injury kept him out and brenko was playing well enough to not warrant being dropped

But keep grinding that axe
