I honestly think that all our major problems stem back to after the GF win in 2005,although we have had problems since the JV began....
We had a board who were split instead of united, poor coaching and player appointments,Ceos who werent qualified enough to take hold of the business and when they did board intervention caused them failure...
Although we havent reached the finals in a decade, there is light at the end of the tunnel...gone are the days of the boys club, poor recruitment decisions, jobs for friends and the boys...
we finally have a hard knowledgeable coach and our admin are a lot more professional than previous years albeit M.GO did some sorting out...
We are on course to see finals in the not to distant future maybe 2/3 years and we will constantly be in the top 4/8...
As many of us can see we are still feeling the effects of poor judgement and Im not having a go at the players but Ivans spending spree is still effecting us atm....

Yes, it’s so obvious and embarrassing. I doubt they would have realised the damage caused. We won’t really know if we’ve turned the corner for a few years. We’re ok for the moment with a great coach and staff and we look likely to make the 8 this year, but the JV nonsense is forever threatening.

I'm pining for the Huth

So is Twal

Bring him back now Pascoe

Who are you going to cut to fit him in?

Seyfarth

If you’re going to lament Momo, you have to regret getting Laurie this year. Momo was the price we had to pay.

Don’t give me “we should have traded BJ” rubbish. Panthers never wanted him.

Ryan Papenhuyzen again. He must be in the top 10 players in the NRL. What a player.

Top 10?

Yeah I genuinely think he's that good.

You are underrating him if you think he’s only in the top 10

The fact that we had two of the future best fullbacks in the game at our disposal, and managed to lose both is really unforgivable from our management

He really has taken his game to the next level under slaters tutelage

Papenhuyzen breaks a 41 year old points scoring record for most points in a half

I'm glad we let him go ...he is so overrated

You're right. Munster, Cleary, Wighton & RTS I think would be ahead of him. Anyone else?

Nah it was the right decision - he is too small.

Too fast as well ...backs up ....goal kicks ...doesn't fit our mold of player
