The worrying part for me

change the culture.

Culture 2019 is alright and should continue improving into 2020. This year Tigers fought hard for most games, only 2 real head-down blow-outs but those were against Top 4 opposition. There were a number of other matches, like yesterday, where the score threatened to get big but we dug in.

It's simply about roster. Team tackled hard, tried hard all year. But as evidenced yesterday, when you lack strike power, sometimes trying hard isn't enough and you just get mistakes.

Yesterday was actually a pretty good summation of the entire season. The team knew what was on the line and clearly tried their best, but a few calls went against us and a few poor decisions and that's the match. NRL sides only need 10-15 minutes to put you away, which is what we did to Knights and Dragons the two weeks prior.

There were only 2 legitimate first-choice selections out yesterday - Corey and Mbye - and we were clearly plodding around in their absence, lacking depth or strike power to make up for the loss of personnel.
