I'm viewing the forum on the desktop, and there used to be icons up in the header which navigated to threads with unread posts in them. That's gone for me now, can others see it? Is there anywhere else I can see which threads have unread posts?

Using my IPad, I tap on the 3bar icon at top left of screen and the tiger claw adjacent for more options.

I find conversations are a bit hard to follow at the moment if they’ve been done as a reply and not as a quote...The previous format allowed you to tap on peoples avatars underneath the reply to chase the conversation back through the thread.

Previous format ie:last week or so.... Or before this whole new forum whenever it was change 6 months back or so... It's been impossible for a while now... I end up skipping most post as I can't follow it

I like the quote history showing again, though @Tigerlily has a point on the format with the recent reply change, as I also used to click on the replied name at the top of the box to understand the context.

Whenever I'd click on someone's name I'd just get taken to their profile... Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

It just didn't seem broke before

It's changed..there use to a grey box of the replied to post containing that posters username at the end of the replying poster that you clicked on taking use to the post...it's gone

now it's just in the replid post which only take you to the profile..

If users quoted instead of reply it would be easier to follow..

Yep, the changes over the last 12 months as far as I'm concerned haven't improved the experience at all. If anything, it's just harder to stay in the loop of conversation. I'm over trying to search back to gather the context. The place looks nice, and I'm sure it is actually better, but I can't work out how it's better if that makes sense. I put it down to me not being tech savvy enough.

We can. Click on the 3 dots to the right of their profile image and should see the option available

some of my notifications recently have not been popping up on the notification bell


i checked that i have notifications turned on for the threads and they r on....


any reason why this happens?


Edit: Never Mind i figured out what was wrong, i had mark all notifications as read turned on

So I carried out a lot of work overnight on the theme to address some of the outstanding issues.

- Front Page has returned to the original Subforum landing page
- The “Reply” button has been removed (complaint by Ink)
- Quick reply function has returned
- Pagination is now at the top of each page (requested by Annandale Tiger)
- Removed the Ad at the bottom of the page on mobile (request by JD Tiger & BigUnit)
- View members posts by clicking on name (requested by Ink)
- Last Post Time on thread (requested by Needaname)
- We’ve now got Recent Posts on the front page for those who can’t get enough of things
- Nested quotes are now hidden beyond the 3rd quote.


I still have more things on the list to address, which I'll continue to do over the coming days.

One thing that I can’t get rid of is the fact that regardless of the work done, there are always complaints. It wasn’t long ago that the site would crash on game day because the server was constantly falling over no matter how much I threw at it.

Since then:
- the server is now on a modern platform that wasn’t written in 1999
- unlike before (and unlike other forum websites) it’s natively mobile responsive. Now you can do everything on the site on-the-go.
- the server has physically moved to Australia, so it’s far more responsive for everyone (except me, I'm in London #firstWorldProblems)
