I did enjoy that @Geo. It is ridiculous.....

When I started this thread I expected we would see 2 Penrith Players charged. But no we see Joey get 4 weeks and no one from Penrith charged despite 2 of our players off the field with injuries sustained by contact to the head .Absolute disgrace.
I too enjoyed the Tooves rant song. That bloke's passion was amazing. Pity he played for Manly. Like him now though.

The main issue were the play the balls / ruck...they got multiple pens in a row which gave them huge momentum and directly led to their final 7 points.

The exact same things were done by Penrith in the ruck...no pens.

It was more than that. Penrith we’re doing shoulder charges, attacking the head and swinging arms all night and for the most part getting away with it. We lost two players because these tactics, with one ending up in hospital. Certainly no Panther’s player was sent off or sin binned.

Then we get a player in the clear after a quick play the ball and it’s called back to play the ball again. This happened !!!TWICE!!!

The refs stops play as we are building pressure as one of the Penrith players was being strapped 60mtrs away from the actual play and the play is moving further away from the player.

Unbelievable incompetent referring.

It just proves the NRL are biased and have there favourites ...
Enjoy the Pamfers v Slimers GF cause that’s what it’ll be .

didn't Kikau get a few high shots in?

I actually thought Kikau was out to hurt someone last night.

the edict from Cleary would've been that their forwards were bigger than ours so go out and intimidate. It didn't work but because the NRL want a panthers slimers gf they got away with it....how could Api not get cited??? beyond me

Because Api didn't mean it.

Thing was, neither did BJ.

BJ only tapped him, when he meant to take his head off, and then the little sook fell down and when no one took any notice jumped up again. GEE that ain't in the spirit of the game, maybe he should have been sited as well.

Thanks @Geo A good laugh break in the middle of all the Brooks/Cleary controversy.

Something else I noticed not being in the spirit of the game @Russell was how many times the Penriff players fell to the ground, or more like threw themselves to the ground in an attempt to get a penalty.
It was obvious from the start of the game they were going to throw anything and everything against us to get a win.
As we know any team is only as good as the tactics their coach employ.
As we now know....Cleary is a dog....so his team must also be dogs and that makes them the same level as Slimy Parra.

If Joey had wanted to really hurt him he wouldn't have been playing for a while. But no he jumped straight back up after Joey went off.

If it's a Penrith V Parramatta GF I won't even watch it.

Nah, it'll be a Parra V Easts GF which is an interest level ZERO for me.

Well that's not much better, but I'll watch that only to see Easts win.

Exactly, he wouldn’t be getting up in a hurry. It was dumb though by Joey and was only going have one result.

Cleary, Tedesco or Moses is an easy choice. At least Teddy saw out his contact.

Yep - drain the swamp!

Is it torches and pitchforks time ...go burn down Penny Leagues Club ...check to see if Iv is a witch

I honestly thought BJ was just trying to give him a hug to show there were no hard feelings, or grab him to stop him falling after some incidental contact.

They might be aiming for that GF but the Storm and Roosters are still a class above both of those teams, probably 2 classes above Penrith.

It did look pretty innocuous didn't it? I really don't understand all the people saying it was a terrible dog shot and calling for BJ to be be suspended for 6 plus weeks. Perhaps it was made worse by the fact that Edwards didn't have the ball, but one idiot said he should get 16 weeks, like really??? What lens are they seeing this through? Honestly, I've seen far worse shots go completely unpunished by the refs and are never even mentioned by the commentators at the time. It's funny how we can all see the exact same thing and yet come up with totally different opinions about it.
