Has anyone come across any funny or unusual street names or suburbs.
A couple that caught my eye in Brisbane:
Toowong [people up here say 2 Wongs don't make a Right]
Humpybong Esplanade [near Redcliffe]
Rode Road [pronounced Roadee]
Wanka Road
Bogan Street
Bald Knob Road

Yes I’m still in Bathurst, and yes the Leagues club is still going, but it’s run by the Panthers.
That came about by some dodgy deals.
The RSL is a much better run club if I go to any club the RSL is my choice.

True story. I had an appointment with a Surgeon in Bathurst he said "Come in and take a seat" he had these beautiful "Chesterfield" leather chairs I said "Thanks very much Iv'e always wanted one of these as I picked it up and started to carry it out the door.
He nearly had a heart attack, until I started laughing.
