This forum has too many...

Members use this wonderful forum to vent their feelings and frustrations. IMO the heavy and ongoing Sheens bashing is warranted. It is finally being heard in the media and talk outside of this forum is also picking up on the frustration. The undercurrent of fans posts here being repeated over and over again will contribute to change whether now or later on. Listen to the people! (although a containment to certain threads would ease my browsing)

Hey Cub

Ease off a bit on the Sheens critic's

Last Week he did his job…Prepared the team got their heads in the game and won.....

Now at school kids ask for a good comment when they do their job nothin extra-ordinary ....Yet aren't to happy when they get negative comments for when they don't and miss-behave....

Sheens needs just as much consistancy as the players do and I'm sure all fans will start giving them their good comments when that happens weeks in a row......

Yeah, it's not that i totally disagree with their comments, it's just the repetitive nature in which they're posting.

If we here them once, we don't need to here them again.

The same with his supporters.
If we hear them once, we don't need to hear them again.

I probably consider myself perhaps just on the Anti-Sheens side. Just.

Just. Only just. Only just like - ooops sorry I won't go there with Tony Abbot or Fred Niles or …......The Skull........ or Ron Burgandy.........

If the actual players could've stepped up and won just one extra game for the last 3 years we'd have made the finals each and every year. It all comes down to the squad. We haven't had the best of depth and injuries have crippled us for big portions of every season. Sheens cant take the blame for that. Imo he's done as good as anyone could have. The failures come down to the players imo.
It been clearly stated that if we dont make the 8 then 2011 is Sheens last year. Nothing will change that. For all the Sheens haters they just have to ride that out, but hey try supporting your coach. We all want loyalty, but its a two way street. Your turn.

I criticise Sheen to look more windswept and interesting than I already am.

Having said that, we should get rid of him.

Are you Everlovin' Antichrist that used to post on League Unlimited?

be honest here, does anyone think, that wests-tigers would have won a comp, without Tim Sheens being the coach.
do you really think that Scott Prince or Hodgo would have come to this club if Tim was not here?
remember, he took the job alot of others would not accept.
like him or not, he achieved the one thing we all dreamed of, coaching a team, wests-tigers that won a comp.
.
yes, there is no denying that the results have not gone the way we have desired for the team since then.
yes we are frustrated with that, and following this team can bring great highs and lows.
but at the moment he is the coach, and deserves some support.
when he eventually moves on, he will always be a very important part of wests-tigers history. :sign:

scott prince came here because no other club wanted him, he was on the scrap heap after those broken legs, he even stated that he hated the wests tigers at one point.

and who knows what we would of done, maybe if bellamy had signed instead of sheens (who was this clubs prefered choice over sheens) we would of had more success and won a couple of premierships and made finals regualry

its just my opinion that sheens has got the most he can out of these players and in some respect they are going backwards as players, its not that he cant coach, its just that he cnt coach this team in a way to get the best out of them, thats why a change is needed, the players have become complacent with no fear of being dropped, despite 4 failed years and losing 4 games in a row this year no changes were made other then ones for injured players

No problems with people expressing it in relevant topics. It is the twisting of topics not concerned with Tim Sheens directly to allow them to basically copy and post from other posts of theirs.

It's not even the content of the posts that perturbs me but what comes across as spamming for the need to be noticed But hell I am sure others feel the same about my posts

Does anyone see the irony that this thread was written to negate critism of Sheens but it in fact provided another opportunity for those against Sheens to express it?

Tonight something strange happened????

I agreed with Ron Burgandy??

Tim is nearing the end of his tenure.

Used by Oct 2011

Do you really remember how bad our team was?

What does bellamy not signing with us tell you? That not even a rookie coach desperate for a start as a head coach wouldn't even sign with us. In fact bellamy wasn't the only coach who didn't think this club was worth the risk because milward decided to take his chances overseas instead of taking the tigers job.

Maybe if we signed bellamy we could be a couple of mill over the cap and be sitting dead last on the table, would a couple of fake premierships make the haters sleep better at night. Sheens gave our club respect, he turned us from a consistent wooden spoon contender to a premiership team. If sheens fails this year fine kick him out, but maybe just maybe we could support him until the year was out, we lost 4 games in a row when our top 2 halfback options were injured, mitchell pearce his out for the roosters and they have struggled maybe you can all quickly jump on there forum and tell everyone to sack brian smith.

I honestly feel as though if sheens held a press conference today saying the sky was blue, rothfields soldiers would be on here tomorrow morning telling us all the sky is actually red and that sheens has to go. Sheens has said if we don't make the 8 he will leave, so can for the love of god can we have a moderately optimistic supporter base for the rest of this year.

If he fails we can bring in the great candidates of
Folkes won 17 of his last 50
Stuart won 8 of his last 29
Brown won 22 out of his last 48 in the nrl with the most talented known to man prior to bellamys salary stormers

wooo signing 3 under 50% coaches isn't accepting mediocrity at all

My biggest question is if sheens takes deep into the finals this year will you be quiet for a little while?

Awwww snap!!! Love the post and couldn't agree more!!!

you are counting there last 1-2 years of coaching do you want to bring up sheens last 8 years? where hes ha d1 thats right 1 winning season

all coaches (except bellemy and bennett) have experience rough trots and the clubs of those coaches you mentioned didnt sit on their hands waiting for it to spiral out of control they got rid of 2 of them and stuart moved himself on, weve had this for 5 years and 7 out of 8 years not 1 or 2 years

brown in his time at the dragons missed the finals once in 6 years
folkes missed the finals 3 times in 11 years and one of those 3 they were stripped of their points

its not that sheens cant coach, but hes taken this team as far as he can and now its time for someone fresh to come in and take over, i dont care that no coach wanted us, he took the challenge and for all but one year hes failed
