I think it's 2 bad years, or one ordinary (2011), and one bad (2012). IMO he is just a first grader. I don't see him being rep quality and probably never will be, just a player who can run the odd line for a try and the ability to stand up in most tackles.
Compare him to other centers in the game and he is well down the order. He's one given the chance and needs to be replaced with someone with speed, footwork, get outside his opposition center and produce a great pass to his winger. None of these qualities Ayshford has. I was a fan, but these positions need to be filled with strike power.
