Contracted for a year with bronx/dolphins - QLD lad, tore it up in union (Reds/Aus schools). I can't see him getting a contract worthy of his while with Shibasaki, Oates, Issako & Staggs the clear preference, even with Jimmy gone. The kid is too good to be another Tom Opacic

Two year contracts under Madge are smart as these young players need to play for a bigger contract. Madge will retain players we should not worry about contract lengths.
Many are still scarred as no one wanted to play for JT as soon as they became sought after.

He'll be off contract again at 23, barely even starting his prime and probably with a year of starting first-choice performance in his tank. Yet again, the Tigers will have done all the hard yards to get him there but won't get any real benefit out of it as he'll either leave or we'll have to pay him full whack to keep him for the bulk of his career.
